Huang Chunjiang, deputy director of the Chongzhou Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, introduced that from 2011 to 2020, Chongzhou City has recognized a total of 364,300 acres of high-standard farmland, and the average investment standard per mu is not less than 3,000 yuan. The planned planting area for spring grain in 2022 is 362,000 acres, of which the rice sowing area is 318,200 acres, an increase of 1,200 acres compared with 2021.

"Take rice transplanting as an example. In the past, a person could plant up to 2 acres of land in a day, while a rice transplanter could plant about 50 acres a day." Yangliu Farmers' Professional Cooperative has now developed into a national farmer's professional cooperative demonstration cooperative that integrates large-scale grain planting, drying, storage, and processing. Its revenue in 2021 is 2.77 million yuan, and the average member dividend per mu is 2,782 yuan. The three cooperatives managed by Wang Lingli produced about 2.28 million kilograms of dry wheat and about 4.18 million kilograms of rice in 2021. For this reason, she won the title of "National Advanced Individual in Grain Production".
"The cooperative also provides full agricultural services from planting to processing for more than 20,000 acres of surrounding farmland." Wang Lingli said that in compliance with the general trend of agricultural digitalization and intelligence, she is changing from a grain operator to a comprehensive agricultural service provider.

"Small weather stations and sensing equipment are installed in the rice fields. Through data analysis, we can know which fields need pest control without going to the fields." Wang Lingli said with a smile that the use of digitalization and mechanization has saved costs and increased the efficiency by about 30% per mu.
