I read the headline yesterday. An old man in his 70s wrote a comment under an article saying that he and his wife were infected with the new coronavirus, but his children were not around. He dragged his sick body to take care of his wife. I don’t know if he could survive it. I felt sad after reading it.
My parents are over 70 years old, and my mother Alzheimer's has been slumped in the bed for more than two years. I usually take care of my elder sister. A few days ago, my elder brother-in-law's cancer recurred and was hospitalized. My elder sister went to take care of him. I was sealed at home. My younger brother couldn't come back from another place. I was worried every day. I hurried to see them when I saw it. The moment I saw it, my mother was wearing nothing, curled up on the bed naked, my father's beard was unshaven, and his eyes were covered with blood. It should be difficult to rest. I haven't seen each other for a few days, and I obviously feel that they have lost weight.
The new coronavirus is so contagious that it can be achieved by all the family. I think there should be many elderly people living alone like this. If both of them are like this, even if they have medicine, food and drink, who will do it and how to take care of it is really a problem.
