On the morning of July 4, the Lianjiang Workstation of Fuzhou Coast Guard Bureau and the Lianjiang County Public Security Bureau adopted a "sea and air" linkage method to conduct a dragnet inspection of key sea areas and places such as Hong Kong and Macao ports, docks, and fishing rafts in their jurisdiction. In the waters near of Dongluo Island, two suspicious ships covered with black cloth were found in a fishing tray, and the ship was immediately boarded for inspection.
After investigation, the two ships were equipped with 6 high-power engines at the tail, and the total horsepower of a single boat could reach 1,800 horsepower. No ship-related documents were found along the ship. They were suspected of illegal modification of the "three-no" high-power speedboat. Law enforcement officers seized the ship involved in the case in accordance with the law. At present, the case is under further investigation.
