According to United News Network , the container that occurred was loaded to Los Angeles last month, and then left for Taiwan on October 22. At around 2 pm on the 16th, the container of the incident was unloaded at the container terminal No. 32, Taichung Port. Due to a odor coming from the container, the staff unpacked the box and found the body, and then reported the case to the police.
Taichung Port Police Corps immediately blocked the scene after receiving the alarm and found a female body in the container, with coats, backpacks, wallets and other items scattered on the scene. The body has been seriously corroded and cannot be identified, and there are no obvious external injuries on the body. The police initially confirmed through the documents found in their wallet that the deceased should be a 41-year-old resident of Kansas, USA.

At the same time, he contacted the US through the police station personnel stationed in the United States to provide the container number, carrier ship, container dynamics and information on the body of the deceased. In addition, the prosecutor also stated that there were suspected signs of a woman walking during her lifetime in the empty container, and the reason and process of entering the container were still the focus of the investigation. At present, the prosecution has collected DNA features from the deceased and is expected to be dissected next week to clarify the exact cause of death.
