Doctor Yuan, the villagers called the villagers, is Yuan Yucai, and he is a village doctor in Xinzhuang Village, Songlin Town.
Since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Yuan Yucai has been responsible for home inspection of the physical health of people returning home.
On the same day, he and medical staff from Songlin Town Health Center went to households to carry out epidemic prevention and control and family doctor services, and delivered disinfection supplies to returnees.

Yuan Yucai, 59 years old this year, was engaged in rural health and epidemic prevention work in Ganchang Village, Miaolin Office, Songlin Town in 1992. In 1998, he was appointed to Xinzhuang Village to undertake rural health and epidemic prevention work. Over the past 28 years of work, he has crossed mountains and ridges, regardless of sunny weather, rainy weather, day and night, and has always worked diligently and wholeheartedly to protect the health of the villagers.

In 2019, villager Luo Dehua suddenly fainted on the ground, unconsciously. His family thought the treatment was ineffective and prepared to give up. After Yuan Yucai learned of the situation, he immediately called an ambulance and rushed to his house. He led the villagers to carry them on a temporary stretcher. He walked for nearly 40 minutes and escorted him to the ambulance and took him to the town hospital for treatment.

The four people in Zhao Xinghai's family in Zhengguang Group had fever symptoms, so he asked him to go for a checkup. Upon receiving the call, Yuan Yucai drove to his destination and reported the situation to his superiors. He also called an ambulance until the patient was sent to the hospital and went home alone at 11 pm.
Wang Lun, director of Songlin Town Central Health Center, told the author that during the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Yuan Yucai always charged for the front line and actively provided health services to the people in his daily work. "Yuan Yucai is a microcosm of rural doctors. It is an excellent village doctor like him who has guarded the first line of health defense for the grassroots people." Wang Lun said.
The author learned that 691 households and 2105 people in Xinzhuang Village have all established health records, and the signing rate of family doctors has reached 100%. During the epidemic prevention and control period, Yuan Yucai visited 10 households and 80 people to visit 10 households and observe them at home.
