He believes that finding Chen Jianren to join the party highlights Tsai Ing-wen's anxiety.
Liu Caiwei, Wang Shijian and Huang Weihan recently discussed Chen Jianren's joining the DPP on an online political discussion program. Wang Shijian first stated that, including the "command commander of the command center", the election of county and city mayors or the taking over as head of administrative agencies, none of these three positions require party membership, "the only one position is the chairman of the Democratic Progressive Party." Wang Shijian believes that after Chen Jianren cooperated with the Democratic Progressive Party for so long, he should apply to join the party at this time to express his affirmation of the Democratic Progressive Party.
Liu Caiwei said that although Tsai Ing-wen's current poll still has more than 50%, which looks very high and does not have a lame appearance, she believes that Tsai Ing-wen is psychologically lame, and Chen Jian-ren is a product created by Tsai Ing-wen's psychological lame.
Liu Caiwei pointed out that the DPP loves to cooperate with non-party members. If Chen Jianren wants to choose Taipei City, he does not need to join the party. At present, the DPP's performance in the 2024 "general election" seems to be Lai Ching-te and Zheng Wencan are relatively strong, but they are both people from the "new department". "The 'British Department' cannot see a successor to their 2024", so Chen Jianren is invited to make the "British Department" feel at ease, but this also highlights the anxiety of Tsai Ing-wen and the "British Department".
Huang Weihan said that there seem to be five possibilities for Chen Jianren to join the party, namely the head of the administrative agency, the "command commander of the command center", the party chairman, the mayor of Taipei and the leaders of Taiwan, but if you analyze it carefully, you will find that it is actually a layout for 2024.
Huang Weihan pointed out that there is currently a person in charge and no one wants to change the person in charge, so there is no problem of taking over the administrative agency; during SARS in 2003, Chen Jianren was the " Director of the Health Department" who was not a party member, so it has nothing to do with the position of the "command center"; and Tsai Ing-wen is currently the party chairman and does not need anyone to accept it. Even if Taoyuan loses the election and Taipei fails to win at the end of the year, he is required to resign from the party chairman, and there is still Chen Ju, the head of the supervisory agency, who can take over. If Chen Jianren just joins the party, he will be able to accept the party chairman, and he will not be able to hold on to the "facts"; Taipei mayor does not need to be a party member, and the current "command commanders" Chen Shizhong and Lin Jialong are both interested in choosing Taipei, so Chen Jianren does not need Chen Jianren.
Huang Weihan therefore believes that the invitation of Chen Jianren to the party is to make plans in 2024, and pointed out that according to the DPP nomination rules, those who have submitted an application for joining the party for more than 2 years can be nominated as a candidate for the leadership of Taiwan. Chen Jianren's application for joining the party was in December 2021, and it will be two years by December 2023. The "general election" voting date will be in January 2024. It is believed that although Tsai Ing-wen may not necessarily recommend Chen Jianren to come out for election, this move is to let Chen Shizhong and Lai Ching-te know that "I have someone."
