On June 8, Qidong COSCO Shipping Offshore Engineering's super-large VLCC "Falcon" wheel modified floating production and storage tanker (FPSO) project built by Malaysian oil service company Yinson Holdings held a naming celebration in Qidong. The modified FPSO was named "FPSO Anna Nery".
It is reported that the "Falcon" ship is the second time that Qidong COSCO Shipping Offshore Industry has modified the floating production storage and unloading tanker for the company. The wheel has a total length of 333 meters, a width of 58 meters and a depth of 32 meters. It has the characteristics of high added value, high technical difficulty and short modification cycle. It includes repair, modification, system upgrade and module lifting integration projects, involving 2,500 tons of pipe fittings prefabricated, 14,000 tons of steel structure, 940 kilometers of cable pulling and laying, and hoisting integration of 36 modules. The renovated and modified FPSO can store 1 million barrels of crude oil, with a maximum daily processing of about 39,750 standard cubic meters of gas, and 4,000,000 standard cubic meters of gas treatment and transportation, making it a "offshore oil and gas factory". After the naming ceremony, the ship will be towed to the Luhuashan waters for system debugging and then rushed to the Brazilian oilfield for service.
"Falcon" wheel modification FPSO project took 24 months.
