Jia County, Henan Province, the small square outside "Sansuyuan " has not been so lively for a long time. It was late August, and a stage and screen were set up in the small square outside the park. In addition to the people invited to attend the ceremony, the villagers from the surrounding villages rushed over and heard the news, and the children who had not yet started school also came to the square. Among the crowd, there were elders wearing Hanfu from Changzhou, Jiangsu, about 800 kilometers away. On this day, the Northern Song Dynasty literary master Su Shi connected two places, Changzhou is his place of life, and Jiaxian is his last destination.
Many people don’t know that Jia County, Henan Province is the home of Su Shi, Su Zhe and Su Xun . For the villagers in the villages around Sansuyuan, and even the entire Jia County, " Sansu " has become a symbol of his hometown and has subtly influenced the development of rural culture in Jia County. On August 25, scholars from Communication University of China , together with Jiaxian, launched an activity to convene "cloud villagers". This time, people hope to use modern digital means to let culture lead the villages and go further.

in Jia County. Sansu carries nostalgia memories
. In 27 kilometers away from the county town of Jia County, Pingdingshan, Henan Province, in 1102, it was the second year when Su Shi died of illness in Changzhou. He was buried here by his younger brother Su Zhe. In addition to Su Shi, the tombs of Su Shi's second wife Wang Runzhi, Su Che and his wife, and their father Su Xun were buried in Jia County one after another. At the northern end of Sansu Garden today, the tomb of Sansu is lined up in the east and west, and a father and son three poets have been buried in Jia County for nearly a thousand years. In the courtyard where Sansu was buried, more than 500 cypress trees tilted slightly toward the southwest. The locals called it "homesick cypress" - southwest , which is the direction of Su Shi's hometown, Meishan, Sichuan.
In fact, Su Shi almost never had any intersection with Jiaxian in his life. This is not the hometown of "the cold tiles piled up in spring" Meishan , it is not Hangzhou, which carries his comfortable life, nor is it like Changzhou, it is the place he believes in his heart to end his life. Perhaps it was buried in Jia County because he was Su Shi who entrusted his younger brother Su Zhe to "die me, bury me, , Songshan , and I was engraved by me", and Su Shi who wrote "It's a green mountain where you can bury your bones."
Indeed, compared with the many places Su Shi traveled throughout his life, Jia County is unknown. However, for generations of people from Jiaxian County, Su Shi has left the deepest mark and symbol for his hometown.
The small square in front of Sansuyuan is still a place where elderly people in nearby villages take their children to play and enjoy the cool air. Here, no one knows Su Shi and the Su family father and son. When they met a foreigner, the elderly chatted with pride, "The eight great masters of the Tang and Song dynasties accounted for six in the Song Dynasty. The three Su and sons here must be considered to be half of the sky of the poetry and prose of the Song Dynasty."

This summer, Liu Nan, an associate professor at Communication University of China, talked with the centenarians in the village about the stories and legends about Su Shi in Sufensi Village. Photo provided by the interviewee
is embedded in Sufensi Village, Ciba Town, Jia County, the location of Sansuyuan. This village, which is included in the list of traditional ancient villages in China, is named after the burial place of Sansu, and the Su family and son are also enlighteners of all villagers for traditional culture.
Not rich villages, but they have never withered
In the past month, Liu Nan, associate professor at Communication University of China, has been a regular visitor to Sufensi Village. From her perspective, this village that has been silently with the Su family father and son for thousands of years, even though it does not look very rich on the outside and has no industry to lead the village to develop, the village itself is not depressed and the village's culture is not withered.
According to village history, Sufensi Village was born in the Western Han Dynasty and many of the stories passed down to this day are about Su Shi. These stories tell how villagers, under the influence of Sansuyuan, punish evil and promote good, benevolent and generous. The Su Shi in the story is more like a cultural symbol, and is even given mythical color by the locals. Those who first hear it may just think that this is a mysterious folk story.
"But this is actually the place where the village surprises me the most."Liu Nan said that the existence of these stories actually means that the village has its own unique rural style construction and the villagers have a full and firm spiritual core. "This is what Sansuyuan has given to the village, and it is also the spiritual wealth left by Su Shi for the villagers. "
Before going to Beijing to study, Liu Nan grew up in Jia County. For her, Sansu Garden carries the spring outings of her childhood and the infinite admiration when facing the Sansu statue. In the world outside her hometown, Su Shi has a famous reputation and can be used as a destination, which is an inconspicuous footnote. "This is a careful knot for me. "Liu Nan was moved by the rural culture nurtured by Sansu Garden for the village. When she returned home this summer, she walked into the village's Dongpo Primary School and began to establish a public welfare rural academies. Through her own resources, she allowed children in the school to enter the craft classroom.

"Later we also heard about the concept of 'digital villagers'. I thought at the time that this might also be a way for more people to know Jia County and Sufensi Village. The villages in Sansuyuan may also find some methods and paths for rural revitalization in such exploration. "Liu Nan said.
days south and north "Cloud Villagers" are also the promoter of the village
The concept of "Cloud Villagers" and "digital collections" is not an isolated case in China. Siping Village, Xiling Township, Pingnan County, Fujian Province is the birthplace of the first batch of "Cloud Villagers" in the country. In May this year, this once slightly remote village began to explore new paths for rural development by issuing digital collections, as well as the combination of rural assets, rights, and products. Even in Jia County, there are precedents for "digital collections", 20 At the end of 21, Huayuan Village, Zhongtou Town, launched a series of digital collections of "Digital Villagers", hoping to use this method to make the collections have the dual value of real rural economic rights and digital economy , and also find a way out for the development of local rural industries.
Liu Nan once visited Siping Village and Huayuan Village. "At first, I didn't have much thoughts, I just thought about doing something for the village. When I arrived at the village, it was also a process of groping and experimenting. "In order to be more stable, she went to understand the operation of the local Yun Village Council, and things gradually changed from blur to clear.
In the end, Liu Nan tied the "cloud villagers" to the village entity rights and interests, planned to hold the "Protect Su Dongpo" cloud villagers event at the end of August, and officially released digital collections on the platform. In short, the foreigner who became a "cloud villagers" by purchasing digital collections, while having the identity of a digital villager, also enjoyed the rights and interests of ten entities including village orchard picking, homestay accommodation, and Sansuyuan tickets. When introducing this, Liu Nan emphasized the "sense of identity" that Yun villagers can obtain, "This means that Yun villagers will not only enjoy rights, but will also fulfill the task of making suggestions for the village. "

Liu Nan used to be a person who liked to post frequently on WeChat Moments. In the past month, she no longer cares about sharing all the progress of the matter on social platforms. For her, these progress is hard-won, after all, she has hit a wall in every step of the specific operation.
"Firstly, people did not understand the concepts of 'cloud villagers' and 'digital collections'. Later, some docking involving entity rights and interests and the poor access to platform certification and purchase methods. "Sufensi Village Committee is a place where Liu Nan often goes in the past month. She called on villagers to do " brainstorm " together to coordinate various resources in the village at this stage. The village has a thousand acres of agricultural industrial park. Not long ago, they have worked hard outside to engage in Ru porcelain . Craftsmen with painting skills and young people have just returned home. Only the left-behind women's cultural and creative workshop has gained some insight. In the eyes of outsiders, the village is in a mess, but in Liu Nan's view, everything is the hope for the village to develop.
In Sufensi Village, not everyone can understand the concepts Liu Nan said. But villagers and village cadres also have their own interpretations.Wei Zhaohan, the first secretary of Sufensi Village for one year, directly regarded "cloud villagers" as a means to realize rural revitalization. "The rights and interests promised to Yun villagers are opportunities. If we do well, these Yun villagers from all over the world will become promoters of the village."
What resources can the villages not really ask for the "cloud villagers" who have obtained the rights and interests to bring to the village and what suggestions do they provide? But in Wei Zhaohan's view, being able to provide good services and safeguard their rights and interests may also increase their recognition of their own identities, and subtly drive the people around them to pay attention to this small village next to Sansuyuan. "In this process, the villagers of Yun may not really do something, but we must do something."
"Strive to be closer to Dongpo "
August 25th, the event was launched as scheduled for a month. That day was also the 921st anniversary of Su Shi's death. The event received support from the municipal, county and township governments. In the square outside the Sansuyuan Gate of Jia County, the launch ceremony of this event was much larger than Liu Nan expected. That morning, the rain that had been worrying in the weather forecast had not yet fallen. Liu Nan said that the success of this moment brought great comfort and encouragement to him.
Liu Nan finally set the theme of the activity "Protect Su Dongpo", intending to break the limitations of geographical space and create a vast world of rural value through the joining of "cloud villagers".
In her speech on the spot, she said that during the early visits to the village, she found that the villagers of Sufensi Village sincerely protected Dongpo Tomb from generation to generation. Poverty Alleviation action has brought earth-shaking changes here, but due to remote geography and single industry, this traditional ancient village still has a lot of potential to be explored. She thus proposed the Digital Cloud Villagers Plan to "protect Su Dongpo", hoping to break through geographical restrictions, so that villages and Jiaxian can gain more attention, and find a path to achieve rural revitalization. On the day of the event on August 25, in addition to the villagers who came from ten miles to eight villages, there were also Su Shi's clan relatives who came from about 800 kilometers away from Changzhou, Jiangsu. As Liu Nan wished, the unknown villages in the past have gathered too many people's attention at this moment. At the
ceremony, experts and scholars interpreted the topic differently. Shan Zhansheng, president of the Henan Contemporary Literature Society, mentioned that for many years, he has always strived to be "close" to Su Dongpo. "No matter at any time, he is doing what he wants and should do," Shan Zhansheng feels that being "close" to Mr. Dongpo means that people are closer to their ideal personality. "At the same time, the Su family has three fathers and sons, which also means that we are closer to the ideal family education ." Pingzi, a member of the Chinese Writers Association and vice president of the Henan Poetry Society, mentioned in his speech that when people talk about "protecting Su Dongpo", it is often not that Mr. Dongpo needs to be protected, "on the contrary, the spirit in our hearts needs Su Dongpo to be protected."
For Sufensi Village, such mutual protection may be a tacit understanding between generations of villagers and Mr. Dongpo.
