Luanchuan County Sanguan Temple, also known as Baiyun Temple in ancient times, is in Gucheng Village in Tantou Town. Turn off the road and cross Sanguan Bridge. When you enter the village, you will see Sanguan Temple. The Sanguan Temple, located at the bridge at the entrance of Gucheng Village, faces west and east, facing high and majestic, is the largest temple in Tantou Town.
It is said that the ancient city village of Tantou Town had established a city wall in the Tang Dynasty. Later, the city wall was destroyed by floods, so the village was called the ancient city. Since ancient times, the Gucheng Village has a flat terrain, surrounded by mountains and water, and fertile land. It is called the warehouse of Tantou Town. The people of Gucheng Village feared the gods and hoped that the gods could bless them with peace in their lives, especially to subdue the floods and beasts that were abused every year. Therefore, they built temples at the entrance of the village to save disasters, which is also a long-standing Han folk religious belief.
Gucheng Village Sanguan Temple was first built during the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty. As time goes by, it is sometimes dilapidated and sometimes rebuilt. It was rebuilt and consecrated from 2000 to 2007. Since then, on the fifteenth day of the seventh day and the fifteenth day of the lunar calendar, the three officials temples will hold temple fairs separately, with a meeting period of three days.
It is said that Sanguan Temple has two broken steles and one stone beast. The age of the broken steles is no longer recognizable. The inscription records that the Sanguan Temple was originally named Baiyun Temple, "Is the god's support for danger and support for the divine world like the kindness of the kind cloud?" The inscription also describes the beautiful scenery of Baiyun Temple, "Looking at the flowers entering the secluded forest from the source of water", you can imagine the past scenes of the ancient city.
The three officials worshipped in the Sanguan Temple, namely the Three Officials Emperors (Yao, Shun, and Yu), referring to the heavenly officials, the earthly officials and the water officials. They are one of the long-standing folk religious beliefs of the Han people and the three gods believed in early Taoism. In this regard, the temples of the Sanguan Temple and the Baiyun Temple are all hopes and sustenances for the people of the day to believe in. Therefore, in the ancient city of Sanguan Temple, there are both titles of Baiyun Temple and the Sanguan Temple, and the two are inconsistent with each other.
In ancient China, there were rituals of offering sacrifices to heaven, earth and water. The Taoist scriptures say that the heavenly officials give blessings, the earthly officials forgive sins, and the water officials relieve misfortunes. In the old days, there were three officials temples, three officials halls, and three officials halls in various places, with the 15th day of the first lunar month, the 15th day of the seventh day and the 15th day of the lunar month as the birthday of the three officials (also known as the Sanyuan Festival). During the Sanyuan Festival, people would go to the temple to worship the three officials, repent of their sins, and pray for blessings and avoid disasters.

Historical changes, the world has changed, and the people's hope and sustenance for the Sanguan Temple are still there. This is the power of folk cultural belief.
