A male student surnamed Fu, who had just graduated from high school, was conducting a chemical experiment in his bathroom at home at noon today. He was suspected to have an explosion due to accidental operation. Even the window frame was blown to the ground on the first floor. The student had no time to dodge and was burned 18% of his body and was not in danger of death. He was sent to the hospital for treatment.

According to reports, a huge explosion occurred on a building on Yongmei Road, Yangmei District at 12:45 noon, alarming neighbors to report the case. After receiving the report, the police and firefighters broke into the door and found a male student named Fu lying in his bathroom. He could clearly express that he was a mistake while operating the gas experiment, causing the flammable gas to leak out and an accident.

The initial injury test for the student was a second-degree burn of both hands and right knee, with an area of about 18%. He was clear and life-threatening, and he was in the hospital for treatment.
Yangmei Branch said that after being on the scene, it was learned that a male student named Fu was interested in chemical experiments and suspected that an explosion occurred while performing chemical experiments in the bathroom at home.
