The high temperature and heat waves of summer swept the world, and there was no room for reservation.
In all parts of Europe, extreme high temperatures have lasted for several weeks, breaking several historical records throughout the European continent:
" Washington Post " reported that the UK broke the previous high temperature record and set the hottest day on on the record. The French Meteorological Service reported that July 18 may be one of the hottest days on France, and the heat in the southern part of is particularly strong. ; The Washington Post reported that 40 regions in France are currently under some form of high temperature alarm.
High temperatures that have repeatedly broken new highs in recent years are simply miserable for Europeans who are used to cool summers and are really difficult to deal with.
Because is in Europe, less than 5% of households with air conditioners , and 90% in the United States.
However, as high temperatures become more frequent, European air conditioner inventory is expected to roughly double in the next two decades, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA) data.

So the question is, why are almost very few air conditioners installed in European families?
First of all, it is its high labor cost.
Second, and most importantly, only has a few very hot days every year for Central European and Nordic, so the air conditioner has no meaning.
Most European countries, temperatures above 30° are usually rare, with normal summers around 25°, with cool and rainy intervals. This can be completely solved by opening the windows in a cool morning or evening or night.
From a latitude, Spain and Italy, with the lowest latitude in Europe, are located in northern Jiangsu, China. Due to the high latitude, traditional summer temperatures in Europe are very pleasant, with the average temperatures in most areas including central London and Paris between 15 and 20°C. In a few areas, the average temperature in July was only 25℃ in the southern end of Granada, Spain.
So this leads to the very limited installation rate of air conditioners in Europe. On the contrary, the Chinese fan with high quality and low price has become the only magical tool for European people to escape the heat.
In the past few years since being scorched by high temperatures, every summer, handheld small fans, household fans and mobile air-conditioning are definitely the best-selling products among many household appliances in supermarkets across Europe.
According to cross-border AliExpress data in 2019, in France, sales of AliExpress fan increased by 283% year-on-year from May to July, close to four times that of last year. By the hottest July 1, French fan sales surged by 1,000% year-on-year.

In fact, in addition to fans, China is also in the leading position in air conditioner manufacturing.
The global air conditioning industry has been growing in recent decades, mainly led by emerging markets such as China, India, Japan and Brazil . As a top air conditioner manufacturer and exporter, China has always been the title of the world's largest air conditioner market and the largest air conditioner supplier.
According to the latest trade statistics of ITC, China exported more than US$13.1 billion in air conditioners to the global market in 2016, accounting for about 31.6% of the total global air conditioner exports that year. 80% of the global air conditioner products are from China .
The United States, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Italy and India are also several major importers of Chinese air conditioning products. Moreover, Italy, located in , Mediterranean climate, is also one of the places with the highest demand for air conditioning in Europe. In 2017, 656.0 units, 15.315 units and 9.744 million air conditioners were sold in Europe, North America and Japan respectively, of which Italy is one of the most important air conditioner markets in Europe. In addition, China's air conditioner exports to the Middle East have also seen a significant increase in recent years.
Take the three giants of air conditioners in my country as an example. According to the 2018 financial report, the revenue of Midea, Haier and Gree was 261.8 billion yuan, 183.3 billion yuan and 198.1 billion yuan respectively.
Among them, Midea's overseas turnover ranks first among the three companies and reached 110 billion yuan; Haier's overseas revenue accounts for about 40%, and its European market revenue increased by 25%; Gree's overseas revenue was 34.7 billion yuan.
Gree is currently the largest air conditioner manufacturer in China and the world's largest air conditioner supplier. Gree air conditioning production and sales have ranked first in the world for 12 consecutive years, and have maintained China's leading home appliance manufacturer status for 14 years. In 2016, revenue exceeded US$15 billion.
