Samsung held a developer conference on October 12 to announce the relevant information about the official version of One UI 5.0.
It is reported that the beta version of One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 will end this month, and the official version will be pushed one after another at the end of the month, among which the Galaxy S22 series will be the first to get updates.
It is worth mentioning that according to previous practice, the first batch of official versions should be South Korea, the United States and other regions, and domestic users may need to wait patiently, and it is expected that the time will be around mid-to-late November.
In addition, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will also be available for One UI 5.0 update this year, while other earlier models will be pushed one after another next year.
The new One UI 5.0 will have many new features, including lock screen customization, enhanced palette options, stacked widgets, redesigned quick switching areas, multi-views and pop-up gestures, etc. It also provides different degrees of optimization for emojis, animation effects, file management interface, search, Samsung keyboard, camera interface, etc.
