Starting from April 1, 2019, the People's Republic of China's ordinary passport , Hong Kong and Macao passes, Taiwan passes and other entry and exit documents will be "national and all-in-one". This means that by then, people with school and employment in Huizhou can also easily handle relevant entry and exit services locally.
What is the difference between the "national and serviced" business launched this time and the past? What specific conveniences will it bring to the masses? On March 27, the relevant person in charge of the Entry and Exit Management Detachment of Huizhou Public Security Bureau answered the above questions.
"At present, the demand for the general public to apply for entry and exit documents is growing. Taking Huizhou as an example, in 2018, the city's public security management entry and exit management departments accepted and approved 1499,019 entry and exit documents of various types, an increase of 20.8% year-on-year. Among them, 131,847 passports, 1359,469 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan passes and various types of visas, and 40.37% of Hong Kong, Macao and individual travel visas obtained through self-service certificate application equipment." Chen Hengna, deputy captain of the Entry and Exit Management Detachment of Huizhou Public Security Bureau, introduced that under the premise of frequent population mobility, the original provision of off-site certificate application measures for small-scale objects such as employment and school can no longer fully meet the needs of the people. Compared with the previous measures for applying for certificates in other places, the new policy for "nation of national access" for entry and exit documents launched this time has the following three changes:
First, it benefits more personnel. has lifted restrictions on region, population, type of documents, and application conditions, and expanded from employment and schooling in other places to all mainland residents, covering all kinds of needs of mainland residents to apply for entry and exit documents in other places.
Second, the application procedures are easier. People do not need to submit residence permit, employment, schooling, kinship certificate and other materials to apply for the above documents in another place, which is consistent with the application procedures for the place of household registration.
Third, the service method is more flexible. The implementation of "national service" in has further broadened the channels for applying for group travel visas to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in other places. From the original application at the manual counter of the entry and exit management window, it can be applied at the window or self-service on the electronic visa machine, which can be accepted immediately.
