Hsinchu 's Nine Winds not only blow out the local specialty three treasures "rice noodles, persimmon cakes and fairy grass". International architect Kengo Kuma also designed his first work in Taiwan with the concept of Nine Winds and Nanyuan Garden. Hsinchu Nanyuan Renmin Inn has planned this special building built with cypress mortise and into a unique outdoor dining space, and held a seasonal event "Date under the Eaves", inviting everyone to drink tea, taste coffee and enjoy the dishes in the breeze.
The One team proposed concepts including Hsinchu Jiujiangfeng and Nanyuan Garden from local terroirs. Mr. Kengo Kuma and his design team used their ingenuity to create the "wind eaves" based on the layers of Jiuchong Mountains. Following the change of seasons, The One has designed different special plans in spring, summer, autumn and winter. It enjoys seasonal cuisine and hand-made coffee in autumn, prepares chocolate pots in the cold winter, follows the natural changes in the climate, and moves this feast under the wind to talk to the wind in Hsinchu.
