
The 6th Sun Moon Lake Marathon Guizhou athletes won excellent results
htmlOn October 28, the 6th Sun Moon Lake Marathon started. This year, more than 4,000 athletes from 25 different countries and regions participated. This year's Lake Marathon is divided into the 42.195 km group of the whole marathon and the 29 km half marathon. In order to strengthen sports exchanges between our province and Taiwan, the Provincial Sports Bureau sent a total of 4 players to participate in the event. Among them, Shu Chengfu won the men's all-marathon championship, and Wang Xinxin won the men's half-time gold medal; in the women's group competition, Li Qin and Li Renxiang won the gold and silver medal in the half-marathon.It is reported that this event is the sixth year since the start of the Sun Moon Lake Marathon. The lakeside run not only combines the beautiful mountain and lake views with the event, but also combines running and charity. For every kilometer of the contestants complete, the organizer donates NT$1 to the charity organization, with a total of NT$1.3 million from the first Lakeside Tour in 2012 to 2017. At the same time, this event is also the second time that Guizhou has participated in the team. Sports has made positive contributions to promoting cooperation and exchanges between Guizhou and Taiwan and enhancing the emotions of the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
