One of the small mountain peaks in Taiwan, one of the 780 meters high elevations, there is a mysterious natural lake in Mount Nanchon Kanami, which has never been exposed. Even the satellite sky can't be seen. However, under the leadership of the local hunter of the Paiwan tribe, our reporter finally got a glimpse of the face of Mount Lu, which also made the lake exposed for the first time. Although the lake is only ten basketball courts, it is rich in ecology and is the only mountain lake naturally formed in Nanchon.
reporter took a four-wheel drive jeep and connected to Funan Industrial Road from the provincial road Taijiu Highway to the mountain. The gravel mixed with weeds was on the road, and it jumped to Mount Kanami along the way, and it took about an hour to drive. After the car stopped in an open area, it thought the destination should be nearby. After the hunters picked up their hunting knives and told them to hike through the jungle, they realized that the lake was so deep.
took a short rest and followed the hunter's footsteps to the dense and unknown jungle. At first, you could clearly see the path under your feet and see the sunlight shining directly above your head. But the more you walked inside, the light gradually became darkened by the big trees, and there was no path under your feet. The hunter picked up his knife and started to slash and slash. He walked behind the hunter. Although it was much safer, his clothes were still hooked by branches from time to time.
Hunter's path is up and down, and he still has to crawl around. After walking for more than an hour, the hunter suddenly stopped and asked us to listen carefully. He thought we were going to listen to the cicadas or birds. He turned out to be listening to the sound of frogs. Sure enough, he heard a group of frogs clearly. The hunter said that he heard the sound of frogs, which meant that it was not far from the lake. After walking for another ten minutes, he saw the lake vaguely from the woods. After walking around the woods, the legendary lake really came into view.
"This is what the tribe said about Gulagu (meaning many frogs)." The hunter pointed to the lake and said that the lake was formed naturally, about ten basketball courts in size, with a depth of one and a half meters by the lake. It has never been dry. Few people know this lake, and even climbers or township offices do not know that there is a lake on the mountain, so Nanhui is not just Jinlong Lake . This is the first time someone has photographed this lake.
. This lake is not like a common lake. It can be seen clearly in a large area, but part of it can be seen, part of it is covered by dense forests. The lake shape is also irregular. The surrounding environment is very primitive, with rich forests. Looking around, it is either Taiwanese beech, camphor trees, pen holders, and trunks are attached to the trunks. The whole scene is like coming to a tropical rainforest.
Because the lake environment is not disturbed and maintains its original appearance, the lake is full of vitality. Not only frogs, but also small fish and turtles are floating from time to time. Birds and birds are also shuttled around the lake. Large animals such as mountain boar , mountain qiang and sambar also leave traces of activity. The ecological environment can be said to be very rich and it forms a complete ecosystem.
Forestry unit revealed that this lake may be covered by dense forests, so the lake cannot be seen through the satellite sky. The lake is located near the top of Kanami Mountain and is the source of the water of Kazinlin Creek, Dazhu Creek, Funan Creek and Toyama Creek. It is also the only mountain lake naturally formed in Nanhui. The peaceful land of Jinlong Lake is different.

This lake remains in a very pristine state, as if it is in a tropical rainforest. Reporter You Congguang/Photography
