In the morning, former vice chairman Hao Longbin completed the registration with more than 10 young and strong parliamentarians from various counties and cities elected in the 2018 auxiliary election, and handed out 46,32 joint signatures, directly responding to the "generational alternation" sound, promising to find a way out for young people in the party. After Hao Longbin completed the registration, the pattern of the "Hao Jiang (Jiang Qichen) showdown" of the Kuomintang chairman by-election was officially confirmed.

Hao Longbin, accompanied by senior party "legislator" Lai Shibao and Fei Hongtai , young and strong "legislator" Lin Yihua, Taoyuan "legislator" Lu Mingzhe and Taipei City Council Speaker Chen Jinxiang, went to the Central Party Department of the Kuomintang to register for the election of the party chairman. Taipei City Council members Xu Qiaoxin, Zhong Peijun, You Shuhui and other young and strong senators also supported each other, showing the momentum of cross-generational support.
Hao Longbin said that if he is elected as the Party Chairman, the core of future decision-making will definitely enter the youth and strong generations and people with public opinion bases. The vice chairman of the Party must have young generations. The deputy secretary-general responsible for the Party’s youth work will also be young people. The first-level supervisor will participate, and there will be no upper limit on the proportion of young people appointing them. Regarding the generation of aides that the Kuomintang has long ignored, Hao Longbin also promised that if young cadres and aides around the party’s public officials are determined to participate in politics, they will actively cultivate their participation in politics in the future and inject new blood into the party.
Hao Longbin said that reform is the top priority of the Kuomintang, and he hopes to take the first step in reform through his campaign for chairman. He believes that as the chairman of the party, he should be selfless and that when elected, he will break the big and establish the reform with such an attitude, help the Kuomintang get out of difficulties, assist the leader of the rejuvenation and the training of the successor team, and will not use the position of the chairman of the party as a springboard.
