A series of "Search for Chinese Traditional Culture" activities in recent days have attracted praise from more than 30 young people and their parents and teachers from Miaoli County, Taiwan.
Yesterday morning, Taiwanese campers came to the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the Revolution of 1911, and under the guidance of the tour guide, they visited the exhibition "Restoration of the Old Site of the Hubei Military Governor's Office" and "The Exhibition of Historical Sites of the Wuchang Uprising of the Revolution of 1911". More than 400 authentic cultural relics, historical pictures, art works, as well as charts, models and scenes, etc., panoramicly show the history of the Wuchang Uprising in the Xinhai Revolution.

Li Guohai, principal of Miaoli County Central Primary School, told reporters that Taiwan’s Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall often holds exhibitions on the 1911 Revolution, explaining the significance of the martyrs and sages going through fire and water a hundred years ago, jointly exploring the development context of a century of history, and commemorating the pioneers to inspire the future.

Taiwan campers climbed the Yellow Crane Tower to appreciate classical poetry, view the scenery on both sides of the Yangtze River, and experience classic cultural activities such as calligraphy and rubbing.

In recent years, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Jiang'an District and the District Education Bureau have used two Taiwan-related education bases, Wuhan Taipei Road School and Wuhan Yucai Yikang Primary School, as exchange platforms, to receive visits from many Taiwanese schools, becoming a brand of Han Miao education exchange and promoting mutual education visits between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. The successive and successful opening of the Han Miao Parent-Child Summer Camp allows more and more young students in Tongluo Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan to visit Wuhan to take a walk to enhance their understanding and feelings.
