According to statistics from Chongqing Youpin, there are currently 18 railway stations and high-speed rail stations in 17 non-main urban districts and counties in Chongqing. There are still 3 districts and counties that have not opened railway stations , namely Chengkou , Wuxi and Kaizhou. What is surprising about is that Kaizhou, where GDP has more than 60 billion yuan, does not have a railway station yet, and the reason is unknown.
Except for these three districts and counties that have not opened railway stations, Chongqing’s 14 non-main urban districts and counties have more than one railway station or high-speed rail station. Compared with the railway stations in the main urban district, these districts and counties have been opened relatively late, concentrated after 2000.

. Wanzhou
Wanzhou currently has 2 railway stations, namely Wanzhou Station (train station) and Wanzhou North Station (high-speed rail station). The annual passenger flow reaches tens of millions, and Wanzhou has also become an important transportation hub in the northeastern Chongqing.
Wanzhou Station (train station) was officially started in 1997. At that time, Chongqing had just been directly under the jurisdiction of the government and passenger transport was launched in 2004. To this day, the operating lines of Wanzhou Station include Dawan Railway and Yiwan Railway .
Wanzhou North Station (high-speed rail station) was established in 2015 and was put into use in 2016 with the opening and opening of the Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway. Liangping Station is a third-class passenger and cargo station. It officially started passenger transport on November 1, 2004. As the largest intermediate station along the Dawan Railway at that time, Liangping Station sent more than 400 passengers every day.
Liangping South Station was officially put into use on November 28, 2016. It has a construction area of 10,450 square meters and a platform scale of 2 platforms and 4 lines. It is one of the important stations along the Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway. In June 2022, after the Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway was completed, it only takes 50 minutes to get from Liangping South Station to Chongqing North Station .
.Fengdu
Fengdu currently has only one railway station - Fengdu Station (train station), which was completed and put into use on on December 28, 2013. The construction area is 7977 square meters, the platform scale is 3 platforms and 6 lines. Currently, the operating lines include Yuli Railway .
.Dianjiang
Dianjiang Station (high-speed rail station) was put into use on on November 28, 2016. Its construction area is 15957 square meters, the platform scale is 2 platforms and 4 lines, and the operating line is Chongwan High-speed Railway . It only takes 40 minutes from Dianjiang to Chongqing North Station.
. Zhongxian (under construction)
At present, Zhongxian County does not have a real railway station. The Zhongxian Station (high-speed rail station) is expected to be put into use in 2025. Its construction area is expected to be controlled within 5,000 square meters, the platform scale is 2 platforms and 6 lines, and the operating line is Chongqing-Wanzhou High-speed Railway.
.Yunyang
Yunyang As a member of the "Wankaiyun Economic Circle", there is currently only one Yunyang Station (high-speed rail station), which started construction on March 29, 2020, and will be put into use with the full line of the Zhengzhou High-speed Railway on June 20, 2022. The building area of Yunyang Station (train station) is 25,083 square meters, and the platform size is 2 platforms and 4 lines.
.Fengjie
Fengjie Station (high-speed rail station) officially started construction on March 29, 2020. On June 20, 2022, with the opening and opening of the entire line of the Zhengzhou-Yu High-speed Railway, it is the next station of the Yunyang Station of the Zhengzhou-Yu High-speed Railway. Its construction area is about 48700 square meter meter, and the scale of the platform is 2 platforms and 6 lines. Now, it only takes 90 minutes to get from Fengjie Station to Chongqing North Station.

Wushan Station (high-speed rail station) is the next station of the Zhengyu High-speed Railway Fengjie Station. It officially started construction on March 29, 2020 and was also put into use on on June 20, 2022. The construction area of is 12,000 square meters and the platform scale is 2 platforms and 6 lines.
Wushan As a district and county deep in of the Three Gorges Reservoir District, the opening of the high-speed rail will undoubtedly promote the rapid development of the local economy, and its relationship with Fengjie, Yunyang and other districts and counties will be closer, and Wushan's rich tourism resources will be more fully displayed.
9.Shizhu
Shizhu County (train station) started construction on December 29, 2008 and put into use on December 28, 2013. The construction area is 30,000 square meters, the platform scale is 2 platforms and 4 lines. Currently, the operating lines are Yuli Railway.
0.Pengshui
Pengshui Station (train station) is a third-class station. It was put into use on April 6, 2005 with the completion of the entire line of the Yuhuai Railway. The station scale is 2 platforms and 4 lines, which can accommodate 400 people at the same time. On August 10, 2020, Pengshui Station started the renovation project. The upgraded Pengshui Station's area is 4,000 square meters, and it also realizes functions such as electronic tickets.

1.Youyang
Youyang Station (train station) is also a third-class station along the Yuhuai Railway. It was completed and opened to traffic at the end of 2005, with a construction area of 4,000 square meters and a platform scale of 2 platforms and 5 lines. In 2019, Youyang Station started the renovation project, which not only increased the area, but also improved many supporting facilities.
2.Xiushan
Xiushan Station (train station) was completed and put into use on November 1, 2006. The construction area is 10,390 square meters and the platform scale is 2 platforms and 5 lines. The new passenger station of Xiushan Station (train station) started construction in May 2013 and was put into use in January 2015. The construction area is about 8,000 square meters.
3. Wulong
Wulong Station (train station) is one of the stations of the Yuhuai Railway. It was completed and put into use at the end of 2005. It is a third-class station integrating passenger and freight. The new station building of Wulong Station (train station) was completed and put into use in 2021, with a construction area of 4,000 square meters and a platform size of 2 platforms and 4 lines.
4.Qianjiang
Currently, the railway station that has been built in Qianjiang is Qianjiang Station (train station). Construction started in 2000 and put into use in 2007. What is under construction is Qianjiang North Station (train station), with a construction area of 11,989 square meters and a platform scale of 3 platforms and 7 lines.
In the future, with the completion of the Chongqing-Xiangxi High-speed Railway, Qianjiang Station will be upgraded to a high-speed railway station. The project has been publicly tendered and is expected to start construction during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
