It is understood that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, the All-China Women's Federation and Women's Federations at all levels have fully implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on women and women's work, effectively performed the leading and service-related functions, fully played the role of a bridge and link, the political and advanced mass nature has been continuously enhanced, the women's cause has achieved historic achievements, and the work of the Women's Federation has undergone historic changes. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has personally deployed and planned, personally presided over the first Central Party mass organization work meeting in the history of the Party, personally reviewed the " National Women's Federation Reform Plan ", and had two collective talks with members of the new leadership team of the All-China Women's Federation, and made important instructions on promoting the equality of men and women and the comprehensive development of women, drawing a blueprint and guiding the direction for women's cause. The CPC Central Committee and the State Council have strengthened top-level design, paid attention to systematic planning, formulated and revised laws and regulations such as the Civil Code, Criminal Law, Anti-Domestic Violence Law, , and Family Education Promotion Law. In the "13th Five-Year Plan" and "14th Five-Year Plan", they have made special arrangements to promote the development of women and children, and vigorously implemented the "Outline of Women and Children's Development". The path of women's development is getting wider and wider. my country's women's cause is entering a golden period of development where women benefit more, the development environment is more optimized, and the development level is improved.
Over the past ten years, women's federations at all levels have always kept in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping's clear requirements that Women's federation organizations must assume the political responsibility of leading women to listen to and follow the Party, insist on taking the study, publicity and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the primary political task, and continue to carry out the series of activities of "Women's Hearts to the Party", telling good stories about leaders, Chinese stories, and telling good stories about women's progress. Since 2013, the All-China Women's Federation has commended 103 national March 8 Red Flag Bearers, 3,985 national March 8 Red Flag Bearers and 2,226 national March 8 Red Flag Collectives. Women's Federations at all levels have selected and commended 939,000 Chinese March 8 Red Flag Bearers (Collectives), uniting and leading the vast number of women with confidence to advance to the new journey with the Party.
Over the past ten years, women's federations at all levels have resolutely responded to General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest expectations for women to be builders advocates and strugglers, focused on serving the overall development situation, and widely carried out women's poverty alleviation campaign, rural revitalization campaign, and women's action on science and technology innovation campaign, guiding women to demonstrate their women's strength in various fronts such as decisive victory in comprehensive well-off society, decisive battle against poverty, and fighting the new crown pneumonia epidemic. More than 4.2 million rural practical technology training sessions were held at all levels and types, nearly 20 million women were trained, more than 1,800 modern agricultural science and technology demonstration bases and poverty alleviation bases were created nationwide, more than 830,000 female science and technology workers were mobilized to participate in popular science, agricultural assistance and other services, and more than 520 billion yuan of various loans were issued with relevant departments to support more than 7 million women to develop industries and start businesses and get rich.
Over the past ten years, women's federations at all levels have implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest teaching on focusing on family, focusing on family education and family style, adhere to the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people, and regularly carry out the "most beautiful family" activities and the " Five Good Family " selection, promote collaborative education between home and school, strengthen family education guidance services, and jointly be the guides for children to protect people to build dreams. A vivid situation of happiness and well-being for every family is present. 13.17 million "most beautiful families" at all levels and types have been selected nationwide, and 5.53 million households of five good families have been commended; a service base system with 410,000 urban and rural community parent schools as the main channel and more than 40,000 online new media platforms as the matrix has been built. Relying on 329,000 children's homes and 494 children's off-campus activity venues affiliated to the Women's Federation, we vigorously carry out theme activities such as "The fragrance of books is everywhere in thousands of families and parent-child reading" and "Young children are looking for the party".
Over the past ten years, women's federations at all levels have always implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's clear instructions on safeguarding women's rights and interests in accordance with the law, actively participated in the formulation and revision of laws, regulations and policies such as the Women's Rights Protection Law, Anti-Domestic Violence Law, Rural Land Contract Law, Criminal Law, Family Education Promotion Law, etc., promoted the implementation of the rights protection service mechanism led by the Party and the government, actively cooperated with judicial organs to carry out work, transfer major infringement clues, jointly research complex and difficult cases, participate in the research and demonstration of normative documents, and promoted the inclusion of public interest litigation of procuratorial affairs into legal provisions, etc., and the majority of women's sense of gain, happiness and security has been continuously enhanced. Women's federations at all levels provide consulting services to women and accept 2.34 million women's complaints; implemented the "China Women's Legal Aid Action Project" to handle 13,734 cases, and helped 15,318 recipients recover 830 million yuan in economic losses.
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, women's federations at all levels have resolutely implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important requirements on deepening the reform of the Women's Federation, continued to promote the in-depth development of reform, and implemented the "difficulty action" to solve problems such as insufficient coverage of grassroots organizations and poor ability to do women's mass work. The political and advanced mass nature of women's federation organizations has been significantly enhanced, and the ability to lead the service and contact women has been significantly improved. At present, there are about 602,000 village-level women's federations in the country, and more than 7.7 million grassroots executive committee members have been added. 900,000 women's groups have been established in the smallest units of women's life such as natural villages, villagers' groups, community grids, residential buildings, etc., with a total of more than 710,000 "Women's Houses".
Over the past decade, the Women's Federation has actively served the overall work of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and the major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics, led women to participate in the practice of " One Country, Two Systems " and promote the great cause of national reunification. It has continued to carry out thematic activities such as "Sisters Work together to build a good home in the Bay Area" and other women's exchanges in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area; it has enhanced friendship between China and foreign countries, promoted people's mutual understanding, and maintained friendly exchanges with more than 420 women's organizations and institutions and international organizations in 145 countries.
It is worth noting that over the past ten years, the public welfare undertakings of women and children in my country have been continuously expanding. China Children and Youth Foundation and China Women's Development Foundation have implemented public welfare projects such as " Spring Bree Plan ", "Children's Happy Home", "Mother's Water Cellar", and "Mother's Postage Package" to provide caring services to women, children and families. Among them, the "Spring Breed Plan" sponsored 1.76 million spring bud girls, providing one-on-one companionship services and psychological counseling to 133,400 spring bud girls; the "Mother's Mail Package" project raised a total of 309 million yuan in funds and materials, bringing warmth to more than 1.1 million women in distress and families.
