October 25, 1945 is Taiwan’s Revenge Day.
Some people say that during the Japanese colonial rule, Taiwanese were also Japanese, saying that the Revenge Festival was the historical view of the Chinese, and should be called the "End War Anniversary".
After Japan launched the Pacific War, it solicited volunteer soldiers in Taiwan to fight in Southeast Asia, and some gentry rich men donated money to support it. If it is the "final war" rather than the "restoration", those who fight for Japanese imperialism are subjects of the "defeated country" and should be judged by the law. The most serious ones will be sent to the Tokyo Allied Court, and the less serious ones will be sent to the Nanjing trial , and the most common ones will be condemned with conscience. This of course also includes Tsai Ing-wen's father Tsai Jiesheng, who participated in assisting the Japanese invasion.
The chairman at that time Chiang Kai-shek insisted that Taiwanese were Chinese, and Taiwan was only stolen by Japan, and Taiwanese were only "people" ruled by Japan, not Japanese. Therefore, the Taiwanese people went from possible "subjects of defeated countries" to "nationals of victorious countries" overnight, not only exempting all the responsibilities of war crimes, but enjoying the glory and rights of victorious countries.
The DPP members are unwilling to accept "restoration", do not celebrate "restoration of the Restoration Festival", do not agree with the "historical view of restoration", do not think "I am also a Chinese", but advocate "the end of the war, the end of the war, the end of the war, the end of the war, I am not a Chinese", and praise Japanese colonial rule. Then their ancestors, in the historical narrative, will be fellow travelers, executors, and executioners of Japanese invasion.
It is actually very simple to understand history, just return to the truth.

Dr. Lai He was respected as the "father of Taiwan literature", and he also left the sad words "The Imperial Army is gone everywhere, the corpse fills the stream, the wild ruin is filled with corpses, the woman hangs on a tree, and the back is still tense." This is a common historical scar of the Chinese nation and also the historical tragedy of the cruel colonial rule of the Taiwanese people at that time.
DPP members can have political stance, but do not distort historical facts. October 25th is not the Revenge Day, what else can it be?
If you insist on being the "final battle" and do not recognize "restoration", you must bravely bear the historical culprit of "Japanese invasion of fellow travelers" for your ancestors. how?
