The report shows that the performance of different products varies greatly, and the "4k HD" claimed by the company is far from meeting the relevant requirements.
Judging from the test samples, the 25 samples involved a total of 18 brands, purchased from e-commerce platforms such as JD.com, Suning.com, and Pinduoduo. The purchase price ranges from 256.72 yuan to 3198.9 yuan per unit. 23 LED light source samples claimed to have mobile phone wireless screen projection function, and 25 samples claimed to be equipped with speakers.

Two samples including Happy Toutiao and Riggel RD-805 claimed to have wireless screen projection function, but the inspection found that it could not be achieved.
According to the results of this test, among the 23 LED light source samples, the cost-effective four models include Jimi XH25L, Xiaomi MJJGTYDS02FM, Nut J72-2D0, Weiying Z8 and other four. The cheapest price performance are the C800, Xianqi XQ-30, REMOZE Ruimeng, Hongtianpao T8, Ruishida M3, Happy Investment, Riggel RD-805, and DAL SF100.
China Consumers Association said that through this comparative experiment, it was found that the publicity of key indicators of LED light source products was relatively chaotic. Some products claim to be "high brightness 5000". However, projector products should use "light output" to describe the light and darkness of the product, but not brightness. Therefore, it is wrong to use "brightness 5000lm" in the product introduction or instructions. The correct statement is "light output 5000lm".
"Some products claim that the light output reaches thousands of lm on the web page, but according to standard methods, the light output of all LED light sources samples is less than 500 lm, and the light output of the projector of the laser light source or ultra-high pressure mercury light source can reach thousands of lm." The China Consumers Association pointed out.
In terms of clarity promotion, some products claim "4K HD", but actual tests are far from reaching. In the view of the China Consumers Association, the statement of "4K high definition" is wrong. According to the current accurate definition, "4K" refers to ultra-high definition, with an inherent resolution of 4096×2160; while "high definition" is 2K, with an inherent resolution of 1920×1080. There are significant differences in image clarity between ultra-high definition and high definition. Therefore, whether it is claimed to be HD or Ultra HD, companies should state that "HD" or "Ultra HD" refers to the inherent resolution of the projector display system or the supported image format.
