Economic Daily-China Economic Network October 24th On the afternoon of October 24, 2019, China National Offshore Oil Corporation held a meeting of middle-level and above management personnel. Relevant responsible persons from the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee announced the Central Committee’s decision on the adjustment of the chairman and party secretary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation: Comrade Wang Dongjin was appointed as the chairman and party secretary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, and removed him from his position as general manager of China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
The above-mentioned appointment and removal shall be handled in accordance with relevant laws and articles of association.
Wang Dongjin
1982 graduated from the Department of Petroleum Drilling in East China Petroleum College Development Department, and received a bachelor's degree. In 2012, I graduated from , (Beijing) majoring in petroleum engineering management from China National Petroleum University, with a doctorate degree, a professor-level senior engineer;
In July 1995, he served as deputy director of Jiangsu Petroleum Exploration Bureau;
In December 1997, he served as deputy general manager of China National Petroleum and Natural Gas Exploration and Development Company, president of Greater Nile International Operations Company (Sudan), and general manager of CNOOC International (NOLO) Co., Ltd.;

From March 2018, he served as a director and deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group of China National Offshore Oil Corporation;
From October 2018, he served as a general manager of China National Offshore Oil Corporation;
From October 2018, he served as a chairman and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of China National Offshore Oil Corporation;
From October 2019, he served as a chairman and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
