My childhood girl and I finally arrived at Kaohsiung . Everyone agreed that Kaohsiung is a beautiful city and worth staying for a few days in . During our stay in Kaohsiung, on the first day we decided to take a walk to Qijindao , and then to Xiziwan to watch a sea sunset.
Qijindao
We are looking forQijindao on the map. It turns out that it is a very small place. Due to its long history, there are historical sites such as forts and the Banner Lighthouse, which can be regarded as a attraction in Kaohsiung. Although I have been to Kaohsiung twice before, it is indeed the first time I have been to Qijin Island, so I am looking forward to very much.
Qijin Island is located on the west side of Kaohsiung Port . It is an overseas sandbank. When you go to the island, you need to take the ferry at Gushan Ferry Terminal. The ferry is very interesting. You can board the boat by using the card . People riding motorcycles or bicycles will also line up to board the boat, which is very lively. The boat trip can be seen from the sea to the scenery of Kaohsiung Port and Kaohsiung City within a dozen minutes, so the journey seems very fast.
As soon as we landed on the island, we rented an electric tricycle that can be shared by 4 people. We started our journey to Qijin Island without aim. Instead of climbing up the hill to see the fort, we started riding directly around the streets. Instead, we gained the most ancient fireworks on Qijin Island. The small shops that looked dilapidated were hidden in the island's unique food.
Later we passed through the starry sky tunnel and vaguely saw the beautiful graffiti on the wall of the cave. The so-called starry sky tunnel is because the luminous paintings of the twelve constellations are faintly visible and like the starry sky. Walking out of the tunnel seems to have arrived at the end of the sea. Under the cliff is a huge wave, which is extremely shocking.
Qianjin Island has three main roads, namely Miaoqian Road, Qijin Road and Zhongzhou Road. The route to visit is probably the Qihou Fortress → Qihou Lighthouse → Qijin Starry Sky Tunnel → Rainbow Church → Qijin Sea Pearl → Qijin Windmill Park . Although we didn't go all out of , we deeply realized the charming parts of the island. If it weren't for a sudden heavy rain, we might have stayed in Qijin for a long time.
Xiziwan
It was already evening when we left Qijin Island, so we decided to drive to Xiziwan to harvest a sea sunset . Since I have been to Kaohsiung three times and are relatively familiar with it, I decided to take my youngsters to , Sun Yat-sen University, and watch the sunset in Xiziwan there to be a different kind of fun.
Although the long breakwater on the left side of the gate of Sun Yat-sen University is the Xiziwan Scenic Area, which is far away from Qijin Island through the strait. However, the dam inside Sun Yat-sen University is much quieter, and tourists definitely don’t know it. What’s important is that the lighthouse there is the most charming landscape in Xiziwan .
That evening, we wandered in the beachfront of Sun Yat-sen University, and there were many warm pictures that are still unforgettable to . For example, a pair of elderly people and their children and grandchildren, their vests may be the most moving scene in Xiziwan that evening.
In the process of looking forward to the sunset in Xiziwan, the roar of the waves hitting the embankment, and the magnificent feelings of the clouds rolling and unfolding, the waves rising and falling all shocked our hearts. Later, I looked at the beacon lighthouse in the distance, and I said I would go there to wait for the sunset. The girls and girls all agreed in unison, so we flocked to .
