Shandong Health News Network Recently, the International Super Microsurgery Conference was held at Shangri-La Hotel in Jinan. As contestants, Sun Fawei and Yang Zhenhai, hand and foot microsurgeons of Pingyuan County People's Hospital, were invited to attend the conference, compete with 42 colleagues from home and abroad, successfully entered the finals, and won the third prize in the finals.
It is reported that Supermicrosurgery was first proposed by Professor Isao Koshima, Chairman of the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (WSRM), and has gradually become a new development direction for microsurgery. Professor Koshima and Professor Wang Zengtao of the Department of Hand and Foot Surgery of Shandong Provincial Hospital jointly initiated the establishment of the International Course on Supermicrosurgery (ICSM). The purpose of ICSM is to encourage microsurgery to explore three aspects: super small, super difficult and super novel.
Professor Wang Zengtao and Professor Koshima were the chairman of the conference, and Director Hao Liwen of the Department of Hand and Foot Surgery of Shandong Provincial Hospital was the executive chairman. Professor Chen Hongji, Dean of the International Medical Center of the Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University (Taiwan), was invited to the Korea Association for Microsurgery and Reconstructive Surgery, Professor Joon Pio Hong of Ulsan Medical College; Vice President of Dalian University, Dean of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Dalian University, and President of the Microsurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association , Professor Zhao Dewei ; authoritative expert in international peripheral neurosurgery, Professor Wang Shufeng of the Department of Hand Surgery of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital; Professor Fu Yinzhi, Deputy Dean of Xiaogang Hospital of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan; Director Qiu Yongzheng of the Department of Microsurgery of China Medical University (Taiwan), Director of Microsurgery of China Medical University (Taiwan), Professor Lai Zhisheng of the Department of Plastic Surgery of Taichung Veteran General Hospital; Professor Huang Laoru of Plastic Surgery of Linkou Chang Geng Hospital in Taiwan; Editor-in-chief of International Journal of Microsurgery (IMJ), Professor Zhang Nairen of Plastic Surgery of Linkou Chang Geng Hospital in Taiwan as a special guest and gave wonderful academic speeches. The meeting also invited senior Chinese Academy of Engineering academicians Zhongshizhen and Professor Hou Chunlin to give speeches.
On October 12, in the preliminaries of the Super Microsurgery Vascular Anastomosis Competition held, the Lycra OH-6 surgical microscope and imported artificial silicone blood vessels (diameter 0.25mm) provided by Leica Company were used to conduct the anastomosis competition at 13.5 times magnification. 42 groups of domestic and foreign microsurgeons participated, with an elimination rate of 80%, and advanced to 8. Finally, Sun Fawei and Yang Zhenhai, the Pingyuan County People's Hospital, beat Singapore, Germany, Egypt, Bangladesh, Japan, Mexico, India and many domestic big names, entered the finals, and won the third prize in the finals.
