500÷30×128=27733 yuan; his maternity leave salary should be: 6000÷30×158=31600 yuan. Since the maternity leave salary is higher than the maternity allowance standard of 27733 yuan, the company can pay maternity leave salary normally, and the maternity allowance will be reimbursed by the company.
Example 2:
Female employee Xiao Liu's salary before giving birth is 5,000 yuan, and the average base of unit maternity insurance for the month of production (average monthly payment salary for the previous year) is 9,000 yuan. Although it is taking 158 days of maternity leave, the current Beijing policy is a normal maternity allowance for giving birth to one child based on 128 days.
Xiao Liu's maternity allowance is: 9000÷30×128=38400 yuan; his maternity leave salary should be: 5000÷30×158=26333 yuan. Since the maternity leave salary is lower than the maternity allowance standard, the company will pay the maternity leave salary normally and after the employee's maternity allowance is reimbursed, the difference will be reimbursed by 38400-26333=12067 yuan.
