In recent years, Luoyang Normal University has achieved outstanding results in the construction of tourism management discipline and professional construction.
In 2015, the tourism management discipline was approved as the first phase of the construction discipline of Henan Province's advantageous and characteristic discipline construction project; in 2019, the discipline successfully passed the final acceptance, and the school entered the ranks of Henan Province's characteristic backbone discipline construction universities; in December 2019, the tourism management major was approved as the first batch of national first-class undergraduate major construction points.
