Xie Mingchang was born in Changhua County, Taiwan Province in 1949 and has established several food companies in Taiwan Province and Thailand. In 2009, 60-year-old Xie Mingchang came to Binchuan County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province and founded Yunnan Guoju Green Food Co., Ltd. here. The company covers an area of 32.6 mu and has a total investment of 52.1 million yuan. It is a comprehensive agricultural production enterprise integrating agricultural product planting, processing, sales and export trade. After years of operation, the company has become the Taiwanese-funded enterprise with the largest export foreign exchange earnings quota.

has been deeply engaged in the green food industry for many years, and Xie Mingchang is well aware of the importance of farmers participating in cooperation. He adopted the "company + base + cooperative + farmer" operation model in the local area, built a planting base for onion, onion and garlic, and signed agricultural product purchase and sales contracts with farmers, and the company provided technical guidance to farmers. Farmers will sell high-quality agricultural products regularly and in a regular and quantitative manner according to the contract. The company will purchase them uniformly and sell them to domestic and overseas markets after fresh preservation, helping farmers in surrounding areas increase their income. At present, Xie Mingchang's company has 34,584 mu of filing bases such as onion, garlic, citrus, grapes, walnuts, etc. in Binchuan, driving 15,260 households and 38,720 people to increase their income by 68.3618 million yuan.
Xie Mingchang has always been enthusiastic about social charity and public welfare. Since 2012, on the eve of the Spring Festival every year, Xie Mingchang has always donated quilts, cotton coats, electric blankets, rice, cooking oil and other daily necessities to families with difficulties in life, with a total value of more than 300,000 yuan. At the same time, Xie Mingchang donated money to mountain schools to help the school improve teaching and accommodation conditions. During the epidemic, Xie Mingchang organized a company to donate 100,000 yuan to the Dali Prefecture Youth Development Foundation for local epidemic prevention and control.
Over the past few years, Xie Mingchang has invested more than 5 million yuan in various social assistance funds, reflecting the sense of community between compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait as one family.
