[ Global Network report] According to Taiwan's United Daily News 24, an explosion occurred in a private house in the "Truth, Good and Beautiful Garden Villa" community in Sanxia District, New Taipei City on the afternoon of the 23rd. A 26-year-old man surnamed Liu was seriously burned. The power of the explosion also shattered the glass in the apartment opposite the community, and four others were injured. According to reports, the police and firefighters' preliminary investigations believe that unlike the gas explosion, the unknown yellow powder collected at the scene has been sent to test whether it has gunpowder components.

According to reports, the police investigated that the above-mentioned community houses have a age of 21 years and the total number of households is 54. The 6-story apartment in which the explosion occurred was in the form of a building, with each 2 floors being the same household, with a garden in the middle of the community, and about 8 meters away from the opposite building.
reported that at around 15 pm on the 23rd, an explosion occurred in the apartment where the man surnamed Liu lived. The huge power exploded the aluminum windows on the outer edge of the building and the items in the house were scattered outdoors. Nearly 40% of the skin of the man surnamed Liu burned the second degree, and "the scene was full of devastation." The explosion also caused the entire row of glass on the opposite apartment 8 meters away to be shattered. Four people were cut or fell due to broken glass, and five injured were then taken to the hospital by ambulance.
report also mentioned that the police investigation found that a man surnamed Liu lived with his wife and mother. At that time, Liu was preparing to organize the storage room on the 4th floor, and an explosion occurred as soon as the door was opened. According to the mother of a man surnamed Liu, after the explosion, her son was standing at the door of the third floor with burns all over his body and asked her to put out the fire soon. After she went upstairs, she found that there was a small area of fire in the storage room, and she extinguished it directly. When the fire brigade arrived at the scene, there was no smoke or fire.
Police and firefighters conducted on-site investigation. The apartment natural gas pipeline was not damaged, unlike natural gas or gas leaking, causing gas explosion. The storage room was suspected to be the first scene, and almost all the items piled up inside were blown outside the house. In addition to the white fire extinguisher dry powder, there were also a few unknown yellow suspicious powder left on the floor of the stairwell at the door. It is not ruled out that it is the cause of the explosion. It has been sampled and sent for inspection.
