This newspaper (Reporter Wang Wenjun) On August 16, the signing ceremony of Shanxi Hongda Steel Group Co., Ltd. and China Steel International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. green and low-carbon annual output of 1 million tons of thin strip casting and rolling project was held. As a cutting-edge technology that has attracted much attention, the thin strip casting and rolling process technology has the advantages of short process, low energy consumption and low emissions. Its energy consumption per ton of steel is only one-fifth of conventional hot continuous rolling, and carbon dioxide emissions are only one-quarter of conventional hot continuous rolling. The green and low-carbon annual thin strip casting and rolling project signed on the same day was jointly created by Sinosteel International and Shanxi Hongda. It is the first thin strip casting and rolling production line in my country with independent intellectual property rights. It can replace the import production line of the same type of product and achieve a substantial breakthrough in the integrated casting and rolling technology in my country's metallurgy field. This project is a concrete practice of our city to accelerate the transformation and upgrading and intensive development of traditional advantageous industries. Through new green, high-quality, smart and efficient new processes and new technologies, it will drive the city's steel industry to improve equipment level, improve production capacity supporting facilities, extend the industrial chain, and achieve green and low-carbon development, and strive to create a green and low-carbon metallurgy benchmark project.
