As the largest sponge project in Lu County , Longhu Wetland Park has always attracted much attention. Recently, a reporter from Chuanjiang Metropolis Daily - Chuanjiang No. 1 saw at the construction site of Longhu Wetland Park that the project has completed the construction of the bottom of the lake and islands, and the workers are busy carrying out greening and planting, and the park has begun to take shape.
technician Zhou Chenglong, at the construction site of Longhu Wetland Park, introduced that about 3,900 trees have been planted in the Longhu Wetland Park project (central lake area), including 75 trees, 19 aquatic plants, 70 vegetation lawns, and 20 shrubs. Next, the construction of teahouse and bathroom decoration, square paving, and roads inside the park will be carried out. It is expected that other projects of the water removal ecological project can be completed in August.
It is understood that Longhu Wetland Park is one of the three major parks in the west area of the city, connected to Jiuqu River, and on the south side is close to Yuchan Avenue, the north side is the public sports center, the east side is the business complex, and the Jiuxiang Avenue, the main road in the west of the city, passes through the garden.
The park is constructed in two phases, with a total investment of 700 million yuan in the second phase project. The planned construction land is 1,245 mu. It mainly includes water blocking dams, dragon culture series bridges, artificial water bodies, waterfront plank roads, wetland education and science museums, viewing platforms, viewing overpasses, ecological streams, walking trails, waterfront forests, rest platforms, parent-child parks and other supporting infrastructures.
This project fully integrates with the sponge city concept, and will promote the construction of three-level water purification level water purification in green roofs, sinking green spaces, vegetation buffer zones, rain gardens, and rainwater wetlands.
