According to reports, the China Airlines Branch of Taoyuan Pilot Professional Trade Union launched a strike on the 8th. Nearly 600 pilots have participated. Taiwan's transportation department intervened in coordination. The labor and capital sides held their first discussion on the 9th, but no consensus was reached on improving fatigue flights.
Taiwan's transportation department originally hoped that the two sides would return to the negotiating table to communicate on the 10th.
