Yongquan Temple is the most famous Buddhist temple in Fuzhou. It is as effective as Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou. In addition, it has a long history and strong incense, making it not only a famous Buddhist temple in Fujian, but also has a high reputation in Southeast Asia. People in Fuzhou often say "go to Gushan", but in fact they are talking about going to the "Yongquan Temple" in Gushan. Then we want to go to Yongquan Temple to pray, so don’t miss it.
Niutouzhai
After coming out of Yongquan Temple, we enter the second section of the road, a leisure trip for mountains, water, let's talk about it one by one. We will pass through two scenic spots suitable for hiking on this section of the road, namely Fengchishan Baiyun Cave and Niutouzhai.
The Baiyun Cave Scenic Area is relatively fewer people because it has a very steep mountain road, which may be a little difficult for friends who have no experience in climbing. The road up the mountain in Niutouzhai is relatively flat, but it takes some effort to climb up. Although climbing a mountain will be a little tiring, it feels very pleasant to climb to the top of the mountain and look at the small mountains.
Eel Creek Scenic Area
After climbing the mountain, we can play with water again. At the end of our itinerary, there is an Eel Creek Scenic Area, which has a clear stream. In summer, there are many people playing with water inside, which is very cool. In addition, there is also an self-service barbecue area in Eel Creek Scenic Area. When you are tired of playing, you eat barbecue and forget all your worries.

Yongquan Temple was built in the fourth year of Jianzhong in the Tang Dynasty. Later, in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, the national master Shenyan presided over the rebuilding and was given the name "National Master Pavilion", which was later renamed "Yongquan Zen Temple in Baiyun Peak of Gushan. It was not until the fifth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty that it was officially renamed Yongquan Temple.
Yongquan Temple has a high status in Buddhism. It is not only very effective, but also has many cultural relics left by ancient times.
Fengchishan Baiyun Cave Scenic Area
Fengchishan Baiyun Cave Scenic Area is one of the five major scenic spots in Gushan. Because the altitude of Baiyun Cave is relatively high, the entrance of the cave is more than 700 meters high, and it is said that clouds often float at the entrance, so this name is given.
There are fewer tourists in Baiyun Cave because the road up the mountain is very steep and there are many steps, so those who go there are usually those who like to climb the mountain.For our friends who don’t climb mountains, it may take more than an hour to go up the mountain, which is also a challenge to physical strength, but the pleasure of conquering a mountain can offset these hardships and sweat.
