In August 2018, Chen Shufang used her annual leave time to escort the first batch of 500 trial-raising geese to Longjing City for trial-raising. After settling down the first batch of geese, we also inspected the local animal husbandry conditions and participated in the design of a breeding goose farm with a feeding volume of 30,000 feathers. We proposed to drive the surrounding farmers to develop and become rich through the "company + farmers" business model. In March 2019, she also helped Xiangshan County Wenjie Dabaige Breeding Company sign a white goose industry cooperation agreement with Longjing Harmonious Ecological Agriculture Professional Cooperative and established Jilin Yanbian Ebeier Poultry Co., Ltd., allowing about 600 surrounding farmers to share the dividends brought by industrial poverty alleviation.After becoming a member of the Provincial CPPCC and a member of the Municipal CPPCC , Chen Shufang actively participated in politics and made decisions. At the second session of the 15th CPPCC in 2018, Chen Shufang's "Suggestions on the Impressive Need for Spiritual Civilization Leadership" submitted by Chen Shufang was selected as a proposal for the supervision of the city leaders. The proposal addresses common problems in rural spiritual civilization construction such as a decline in rural sense of belonging, crisis of interpersonal trust, and serious old customs and habits. It is recommended that relevant departments take measures such as digging deep into local culture, increasing investment in rural cultural infrastructure, and attaching importance to the construction of rural talent teams.
"After the proposal is handled, the city has clearly deepened the creation of civilized villages and towns, and promoted more villages and towns to enter the ranks of civilized villages and towns at the provincial and national levels, and strive to achieve a proportion of civilized villages and towns at the county level and above in the city by 2020." Chen Shufang said. Because of the work reasons, Chen Shufang will write relevant proposals on all aspects of rural social construction every year at the CPPCC meeting.
In addition to participating in politics and making decisions, Chen Shufang also did a lot of social service work. Nongfu Pig Professional Cooperative is located in Tang'an Village, Sizhoutou Town, Xiangshan. It consists of 15 professional pig farmers. The cement road surrounded by green trees leads directly to the center of the village. Who would have thought that the neighbors used to sweep the snow in front of the door, and there were frequent friction disputes. After Chen Shufang and the Xiangshan County Grassroots Committee of the Democratic League of China were connected, they went deep into the breeders to understand the situation, find out the crux of the problem, and carry out the work in depth and meticulously. With the help of comrades from the Democratic League, the mental outlook of 15 farmers has improved greatly, forming a trend of neighborhood harmony and mutual respect and mutual assistance.
"I just did the work within my ability in an ordinary animal husbandry and veterinary position. I will take it as a new starting point to receive the award in Beijing and keep my original aspirations consistently." After returning from receiving the award in Beijing, Chen Shufang dived into the familiar and loving work again. For 32 years, what remains unchanged is her busy figure who has taken root at the grassroots and was her goose shed in the pig house. What remains unchanged is that she has the great love of the farmers who follow the masses.
