China Airlines News Network: On April 29, 2021, Korean Air announced that it would expand "real-time luggage information service" to all domestic and international routes to facilitate passengers to keep abreast of luggage checked information at any time and alleviate passengers' concerns about luggage loss.
"Real-time Baggage Information Service" was first launched on an international flight departing in Incheon Airport on June 1 last year. Passengers who have the Korean Air APP installed on their mobile phones can automatically obtain the push information that the checked bag has been collected by check-in. At the same time, passengers can also self-service check the checked bag status through the Korean Air APP.

This service is based on the "Baggy Information Synchronization System" independently developed by Korean Air. This system collects information on various baggage checking processes and automatically tracks and compares the baggage at every step of baggage loading to prevent the baggage from being lost or loading incorrectly.
Korean Air is committed to paying attention to the needs of passengers and by continuously improving digital information services, it creates a more convenient and high-quality service experience for passengers.
