Oriental Music Dream Factory is a company that exports online intelligent teaching assistance systems to third- and fourth-tier cities. More specifically, Oriental Music DreamWorks' system includes a modular course system and real-time course plan, covering two aspects: in-class and after-class exercises.
30 million Qintong, less than 1,000 qualified new teachers each year
Piano is the largest category in the entire music education market, and piano education occupies the largest proportion of the market share. According to statistics from the China Music Association, the current proportion of piano learning in kindergartens reaches more than 60%, primary schools reach 30%, and the total number of piano children in China reaches 30 million, and it is growing at a rate of 10% per year.
However, the teacher gap is the biggest constraint on the development of the industry; the supply of piano teachers is far lower than that of K12, and since most piano teachers were majoring in art, they were mainly concentrated in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen; piano teachers are scarce in second- and third-tier cities, and educational qualifications are rare, and most teachers are "can play and teach." According to Shen Chong, the founder of Oriental Music Dream Factory, less than 1,000 people graduate from piano or piano education in professional music colleges every year. The direct problem caused by the faculty gap is that the training cycle of piano stores is long, the courses are not standard, and students are prone to lose with teachers, so the scale of most piano stores is generally small.
