According to reports, this invitational competition was jointly organized by Taizhou Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Federation, Taizhou Youth Artists Association, Taiwan China Youth Exchange Association, and Taiwan Wood Construction Industry Research Institute Association. The competition is themed "Gathering the wisdom of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and building a beautiful home together". It aims to build a Thai-Taiwan exchange platform, gather the cultural and creative wisdom of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, and use homestay design to help the development of beautiful villages.
, under the joint promotion of the organizers of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, after extensive solicitation, a total of 89 entries submitted by nearly 100 students from 16 universities and nearly 100 students on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, including Nanjing University, Suzhou University, Nanjing Normal University Taizhou College, Taizhou Vocational and Technical College, Kaohsiung University, Fengjia University, Taipei University of Science and Technology, and Kaohsiung University. The organizer invited relevant experts and scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to carefully review the entries, and a total of 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes and 8 third prizes were awarded. It is reported that the first prize works in this competition are "Seven Miles Galaxy" and "Arriving in the Forgotten Islands by the City". "Qianli Galaxy" was jointly designed by Nanjing University, Shandong University of Architecture Liu Yutian, Gao Yuan and others. The work aims at the current situation of Qilin Community in Chengxi Street, Hailing District, Taizhou City, breaks out of the traditional design thinking of homestays, and better integrates environmental protection concepts and mythological connotations, and is delicate and comprehensive; "Entering the Forgotten Islands in the City" was designed by Yang Qingwen of Kaohsiung University.
