The Ministry of Transport of Vietnam today issued an emergency notice to the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, requiring Vietnamese airlines to strengthen epidemic prevention management of international flight crew members and flight attendants. If the aforementioned personnel violate the isolation regulations and cause community transmission, they will suspend international flights of their affiliated airlines.
Vietnam official media Vietnam Communications (VNA) reported tonight that as of now, Vietnam has a total of 1,358 confirmed cases, of which 35 died and 693 local cases. Currently, there are 15,503 close contacts and people entering the epidemic area across Vietnam who are under medical isolation observation.
