Recently, the Star Camera Museum was opened in the Star Camera City. The more than 130 cameras on display in the museum span a century of history and cover all types of cameras. In the museum, 80 Zeiss cameras that have gone through hundreds of years and have attracted attention.

This Zeiss camera is the only 135 dual-lens camera in the 1930s. Its internal structure is very complex and precious.

The circle on the lens of this camera, known as the "one-eyed dragon", is a metering system. At that time, the electronic metering system was not perfect. The first thing to do before taking a picture was to meter it, and this camera made the metering system into the camera.

Ren Hongliang, executive president of the Shanghai Photo Industry Association and director of Starlight Culture and Art, told reporters that the 80 Zeiss cameras exhibited here spanned nearly 100 years, from 1921 until it stopped production. Zeiss is the world's largest optical company. It not only produces cameras, but also telescopes, microscopes, measuring instruments, etc., with a glorious history in the industry for 100 years.

, known as the treasure of the museum, is this domestic Hongqi 20 camera, developed by Shanghai Camera Factory No. 2 in 1969 and officially put into production in 1970, with a total of 271 units produced. Ren Hongliang told reporters, "Because the production volume is very small, most of it is made by hand, it has now become an important goal for collectors to pursue. This red flag was actually not expensive back then. It was completely hand-made, with 3 lenses and one machine. The price at that time was nearly 20,000 yuan. Now the market price is around 1 million yuan."

According to reports, in addition to opening regular exhibitions for free all year round, the museum has also set up a venue to carry out mobile exhibitions, allowing more collectors to display precious collections.
