Industry is the dominant force of the national economy. In the new journey, manufacturing is the focus.

Panyu is not only the hometown of fish and rice in the ancient Lingnan, but also one of the earliest regions in Guangdong to open up modern industry. my country's first large sugar factory independently designed and developed was built here. Once one of the four sugar canes in Guangdong was juiced and made from sugar in Zi Ni Sugar Factory. Panyu Industry, keeping up with the pace of the times, not only replaced agriculture as a pillar industry, but also moved from decentralized operation to agglomeration development, and transformed from labor-intensive to technology-intensive. In recent years, Panyu District has vigorously developed high-end equipment manufacturing industries such as new energy vehicles, general equipment, and electrical machinery, accelerated the construction of projects such as intelligent connected new energy vehicle industrial park and industrial economy headquarters park, and continuously enhanced the momentum of industrial economic development and promoted the high-quality development of Panyu District's manufacturing industry. A number of advanced manufacturing enterprises have innovative technology industry clusters with "intelligent core" and "based in the Bay Area and facing the world", demonstrating the strong momentum of high-quality development and becoming a new engine for Guangzhou's industrial development.

Industrial photography has a long history. The magnificent momentum and structural shape of the machinery and equipment of large factories, and the various images of workers with distinct industry characteristics, are all subjects that can fully demonstrate the charm of photography; therefore, industrial photography was once popular, and there have never been a shortage of classic works on industrial themes in the history of photography. Therefore, industrial photography has left many wonderful image documents for the development of industrialization. But factories are a special place after all, especially modern industry and high-tech manufacturing. Generally, outsiders are not allowed to enter the shooting for safety management reasons. Industrial photography has thus become special photography, and modern industrial photography works are becoming increasingly valuable because of "scarce resources". As a national art with vivid visual and vivid images today, photography must focus on the changes of the times, the progress of China, and the call of the people, so as to sink your heart, emotions and thoughts into the people, feel the pulse of the times and the brilliance of life with the people, and sing for the times and the people.

Guangzhou Panyu District Shilou Photographers Association takes "morality first, art first, and morality and art as the goal" as its purpose, and consciously shoulders the mission of "cultivating the soul". Under the leadership of the presidium, it has been paying attention to Panyu Industrial Photography since 2014. The organizers have shown courage and ability. Through active communication and contact, they have successively received support and cooperation from a number of enterprises such as GAC Group, Guangri Electrical Preparation Co., Ltd., Longchang Lace Factory, Guangzhou Shengbo Acoustic Technology Electric Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Nali Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Zhiwei Garment Co., Ltd., Guangdong Shengrui Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou CRRC Junfa Electric Co., Ltd., Guanghua Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Haiqixing Marine Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Jingchuang Machinery Co., Ltd., Panyu Cable Group, Yonghua Redwood Factory and other companies.From pure craftsmanship to the manufacturing production line of intelligent robots, from needle spinning and garment making to electrical machinery and intelligent technology, from the magnificent landscape of the aerial photography industrial park to close-ups of characters expressing the spirit of craftsmanship... Members conducted three-dimensional scans of the industrial conditions of Panyu. These more than 60 works are full of photographers' understanding and expression of Panyu's industrial characteristics and culture. They not only reflect the historical process of Panyu's industrial development from different angles, but also polish the signature for "Panyu Manufacturing" and become a rare component of Guangzhou's industrial memory.

This exhibition is a display of the creative achievements of members of the Shilou Photographers Association who inherited Lingnan culture and witnessed the great era. It is not only an appearance for review to strive for future progress, but also a good story of Guangdong and Panyu with photography. It also uses the fine masterpieces of keeping up with the times to give 20 gifts to the Twenty, live up to the times and the people, and strive to create new glory for photography and make contributions to the new era.
