@ Photographers and photography enthusiasts in the province, the 19th Zhejiang Provincial Photography Art Exhibition has started to call for papers!

Zhejiang Provincial Photography Art Exhibition is the oldest, most influential and largest provincial photography exhibition held by the Provincial Photographers Association. It has been successfully held for 18 sessions, launched a large number of masterpieces, discovered a large number of photographic talents, and fully demonstrated the development achievements and overall appearance of Zhejiang's contemporary photography industry.

Exhibition collection content settings five categories: record category (including long-term attention units), art category, commercial category, multimedia category, and photography books category.

1. Records (including long-term attention units)

1. The work must visually record, present and disseminate the real world in an objective way, emphasizing the authenticity and sociality of the images.

2. The author must provide real, accurate and concise picture descriptions, including time, place, characters, work descriptions and creative background. In addition to the general description, a group photo must also provide a sub-instruction of each work.

3. Both photo sets and single photos are available, and each photo set is limited to 6-12 photos. Single works must be created after May 1, 2020, and at least one of the group photos must be created after May 1, 2020.

4. Special settings for record class: long-term attention unit. Shows the long-term systematic shooting of a certain content by photographers, and encourages the use of images to tell stories on the road to common prosperity for Zhejiang people. The number of works is limited to 20-30. The shooting time should span at least 3 different years.

5. Post-processing of documentary works shall not damage the authenticity of the work, and must comply with the following provisions:

(1) Adjustments and retouching of the original image that affects the authenticity of the photo;

(2) does not allow addition, moving, and removal of the elements of the picture (except image sensors and lens stains);

(3) allows cropping and rotating the picture, but does not allow flipping the picture and destroying the original proportions;

(4) allows moderate adjustment of the tone, but does not allow destruction. The overall tone and atmosphere of the original image does not allow large-scale modifications to the light and dark levels to hide the elements of the picture;

(5) allows the overall conversion of color photos into black and white or monochromatic, and does not allow partial black and white or monochromatic adjustments;

(6) does not accept works taken by secondary or multiple exposures, and does not accept panoramic images automatically generated by the camera or spliced ​​with software;

(7) Digital images must retain the original files, and film conversion into digital photos must retain the negatives as the final evidence to judge the authenticity of the image.

2. Art

1. The main purpose of the work focuses on expressing the photographer's subjective feelings, opinions, and interests.

2. Encourage visual innovation and encourage integration with other art forms.

3. There are no restrictions on shooting, creative techniques and post-processing. Other people's materials can be used in a small amount, but the subject of the work must be created by the contributor himself. 3. It is recommended to complete independently. If it is for collective creation, the name and division of labor of the creator must be indicated (no more than 4 people).

4. Contributors should ensure that they have the legal right to use images, music and other materials and shall not infringe on the rights.

5. Photography books

1. Refers to photography books with pictures as the main body of content.

2. The work is required to be published or printed after May 1, 2020.

3. Official publications, internal publications and handmade books can be reviewed.

exhibition plans to be selected for 200 works, including 8 gold collections, 16 silver collections, 24 copper collections, and 152 excellent works.

The organizer has the right to make appropriate adjustments to the number of selected works of various types based on the actual situation of the submission. Gold collection, silver collection and copper collection are specifically divided into:

[Seeking Rules]

1. Photographers and photography enthusiasts from Zhejiang who have been working, studying and living in Zhejiang for a long time can contribute.

2. The subject matter, genre and style of the submitted works are not limited, black and white and color are not limited, and the shooting equipment is not limited. The total number of submissions per contributor shall not exceed 10 (group photos are calculated based on 1).

3. The exhibition encourages new people to work in new works, advocates photography creation to focus on the local area and the present, and encourages exploration and innovation and displays personality.

4. Contributors should submit their articles in real name and refuse to sign the online name; except for multimedia works, only one person can sign each work and joint creation is prohibited.

5. Contributors can choose to submit various categories according to their works. To avoid data confusion, do not repeatedly submit different categories for the same work.

6. Contributors should ensure that they are the author of the submitted work and have independent, complete, clear and undisputed copyrights for the whole and components of the work; contributors should also ensure that the works they submit do not infringe on the legitimate rights and interests of third parties, including copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, etc.

7. The exhibition does not charge any fees, no remuneration is paid, and no refund is required. If the submission works are damaged, lost, or late or not arrived during the mailing or delivery process, the relevant losses and consequences shall be borne by the contributor.

8. The exhibition implements a system for publicizing the selection results. The selected works will be announced on platforms such as Zhejiang Literature and Art Network, and will be subject to social supervision during this period. After the public announcement period expires, the exhibition list will be announced on the official platform of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Provincial Photographers Association.

9. The organizer will uniformly retrieve the large-size digital files of the intended work after the selection (the maximum JPG format compressed file is recommended to be no less than 5MB, and must contain complete exif data).Contributors who receive notification from the organizer are required to submit large-size digital files (please scan the negative for film shooting) to the organizer within the specified time. 10. The copyright of the works selected for the exhibition belongs to the author, and the organizer has the right to use and disseminate. 11. All photographic works selected and awarded in previous national professional photography exhibitions, international photography art exhibitions, TOP20 China Contemporary Photography Newcomer Exhibitions, National Youth Photography Exhibitions, etc., including national professional photography exhibitions, previous provincial exhibitions, and Zhejiang documentary photography exhibitions, etc., are not allowed to participate.
