Ms. Wang lives on the top floor of Jiuzhou dormitory community. As soon as the reporter walked into her house, he saw that the house was filled with large and small basins for water collection. Ms. Wang took out the scene she took with her mobile phone when it rained. Through the video, you can see that the rain on her roof was dripping downwards. Ms. Wang said that as long as it rains, she and her husband will not be able to calm down for a while.
The reporter saw that the roof of Ms. Wang's living room and bedroom were soaked in large areas of rain, and there were also traces of water on the walls, and some wall skins were also soaked and fell off. During the interview, the reporter learned that not only Ms. Wang’s house leaked, but most of the houses on the roofs of the residents living on the top floor of Jiuzhou dormitory community had more or less rain leaks. Residents told reporters that there was no rain leak in the top floor a few years ago, and it only started this year. The reason is that the roof is being renovated, and the rain leak is due to the inadequate waterproofing measures during the construction process.
Residents hope that the construction party can take proper measures and take good protection and not let residents' homes leak again. Jiuzhou dormitory community is an old community with no property. The affairs in the community are managed by the community neighborhood committee. Community staff said that after they learned of the leakage, they were also urging the construction party to take waterproof measures.
