If you know that there are unusual stories behind seemingly normal photos, it will make people feel a little furious, but if the photos that look terrible themselves have bizarre stories, it would be even more weird. Today I want to share with you 7 photos with terrible stories, all of which are quite famous~ I won’t talk nonsense, let everyone take a look right now!
Regina Kay Walters
This photo was taken in an abandoned barn in Illinois, USA. The person in charge of the camera was serial murderer Robert Ben Rhoades, and the girl was named Regina Kay Walters, who was only 14 years old at the time. It is obvious from the photo that Walters looked extremely frightened. In fact, after taking this photo, Rhoades killed Walters. It is said that at that time, Rhoades would force the people they killed to put on black dresses and high heels, just like the Walters in the photo...
Oma bombing
This photo was taken in Northern Ireland on August 15, 1998. The parents and children were members of the Spanish tourism team. The time they took the photo was just before the bomb hidden in a red car next to the commercial street exploded. At that time, due to incorrect information, the masses were evacuated near the bomb's location, and a total of 29 people died and more than 250 were injured. Although the parent-child in the photo is fine, the photographer who came from the same tour group and helped them take photos unfortunately died.
Omayra Sánchez
This is a Colombian 13-year-old girl, Omayra Sánchez. In 1985, the local volcanic eruption caused earth and rock flow and floods, causing 14 villages, including the village where she lives, were destroyed. Sánchez was also trapped in turbid cold water for three days because of the collapse of her house. This photo was taken by a reporter when she was interviewed by her. After a painful 60 hours, Sánchez died unfortunately, with the cause of death probably being gangrene or hypothermia. The photo won the World News Photography Award in the same year.
19th century Victorian photos
This kind of group photos has appeared in our terrible series before. It is a popular Victorian 19th century in the UK... Is it considered a ritual? In fact, if you look at the dead for a while, you will find that the girl on the left is weird. She feels very weak and emotional. In fact, she is a corpse. People at that time would dress them up like living people before burying them and take photos together. I really feel that this kind of photo is super weird no matter how many times I see it!
Tyler Hadley
It was 2011. The 17-year-old man in the center of the photo, Tyler Hadley, found a large group of friends to his house to have a party and took the photo at that time. The others present didn't know at that time. Hadley had just killed his parents with his own hands a few hours ago, and after dealing with the bloodstains, and the body of his parents was hidden in the closet in the room next to the party...
Shadow
No matter where people go, the shadow will follow him. As long as there is light, it is normal, but how come there is no one in the shadow in this photo...? Many people probably have seen it. In fact, the Hiroshima atomic explosion was the one that made these shadows on the walls and floor tiles. At that time, people were instantly vaporized by ultra-high temperatures while their bodies were instantly vaporized, but the shadow was left due to strong radiation... Just like the sign that the life of the victim was suddenly forced to end, it looked so shocking.
Blanche Monnier
Finally, this is really a very weird photo, but the story behind it is even more terrifying and tragic. This woman named Monnier was born in an upper-class family in French Poitiers . When she was young, she fell in love with a man named Jill Lomet and decided to get married. However, because Monnier's family supports the monarchy and hates the Republican Party, they hate the son of the lawyer who is a Christian and Republican supporter, and they firmly oppose the marriage between the two. However, MONNIER said she would not end the relationship, so her family actually locked her in a small room, and the barrier lasted for 24 years. Finally, it was rescued by French police in 1901 because of an anonymous letter sent to the police station.
Monnier in the hospital
rescued Monnier at that time, weighing only 25 kilograms, and he also had a messy long hair that had not been cut in nearly 30 years. Moreover, the room where she was imprisoned was very dirty, the ground was filled with feces and food residues, and the windows were sealed so they could not get sunlight and fresh air. Police quickly took her to the hospital and arrested her 79-year-old mother and younger brother. Later, they learned during the trial that Monnier had suffered from multiple mental illnesses. In the end, her mother died in prison just a few days after being convicted.
As for her brother who was originally considered an accomplice and was sentenced to life imprisonment, but in fact, the one he tried to save Monnier was stopped by his family on the grounds that Monnier was the shame of his family, so he was innocent in the end. Although Monnier himself gained some weight during the hospitalization process, he finally passed away in 1913 due to years of severe torture...
or above, and as he looked, he went from feeling a little scary to being depressed...
