On May 15, the 2018 Changchun International Marathon Road Road Map was officially released. There are two adjustments to the
route
2018 Changchun International Marathon Route. Based on the route last year, two adjustments were made: one is to add Yan'an Avenue and Nanhu Road to the route to further display the most representative street scenes and parks in Changchun; the other is to reduce the retrograde and cecum sections near Hongqi Square to make the route smoother.
Some sections of the road are subject to traffic control
Changchun Marathon passes through Chaoyang District , Nanguan District , Green Park , High-tech Zone, Qikai District and other main urban areas and scenic spots. The specific competition route is: Changchun Sports Center (starting point) → Liberation Road → Xinmin Plaza → Yan'an Street → Nanhu Plaza. (Mini Terminal) → Nanhu Road → Renmin Street → Satellite Plaza (ten kilometers ending) → Satellite Road → South Expressway → Silicon Valley Street → Chaoda Road (South Fourth Ring Road) → Chaoda Road and Kaiyun Street Intersection (half-way end) → Xihu Road (West Fourth Ring Road) → Auto Road → Auto Plaza → Xing'an Road → Dongfeng Street → Western Expressway → Xi'an Road → People's Square → Renmin Street → Liberty Road → Changchun Sports Center (end point).
On the day of the competition on May 27, Changchun Municipal Public Security Bureau will adopt temporary traffic control on some areas and streets, and the control time will be from 6 a.m. that day to the end of the competition.
Specific control measures are as follows:
Yatai Street-Dajing Road-Beian Road-Liaoning Road-Furong Bridge-Qingyin Road-Hsinchu Road-Kilung Street-Zhengyang Street-Chuangye Street-Anqing Road-Zhengnong Street-Xiong Fourth Ring Road-Xihu Road (inclusive)-Chhada Road (inclusive)-Shengshi Road-Fangcao Street-Ulsan Road-Ulsan Road, private cars are prohibited from passing through. Vehicles that need to pass enter and exit the area in advance or incorrectly according to the prescribed time. Trucks are prohibited from passing through the Ecological Square from the Fourth Ring Road (South Section) to the Dongfeng Street Interchange. The truck that needs to pass will detour through the Ring Expressway in advance. During the race, vehicles (motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles) and pedestrians are prohibited from passing (traveling) in the track, except for race vehicles and staff.
During the race, temporary and long-term parking of vehicles on both sides of the track is prohibited (excluding parking lots and seats). Vehicles that refuse to leave and affect the normal progress of the event will be towed according to law.
During the period of traffic control, citizens in the controlled area should try to choose public transportation or non-motor vehicles and walking methods; the traffic management department of the public security organs will punish motor vehicles that violate the prohibited time and prohibited routes during the traffic control period in accordance with the law; illegal acts such as disobeying the command and management of staff and disrupting the competition order will be severely punished in accordance with the law; if units and individuals on both sides of the track have special travel needs, please contact the Traffic Police Detachment of Changchun Public Security Bureau.
