2017 Jianfa Xiamen International Marathon was held in Xiamen City on January 2. In the Xiamen International Marathon Cross-Strait City Invitational held at the same time, the Fuzhou team composed of four athletes, Xie Jinping, Yu Guoxin, Gui Feiyun (female), and Zhong Haiping, won the 13th place in the country with a time of 12 hours, 49 minutes and 27 seconds. The Shanghai team won the championship with a time of 10 hours, 45 minutes and 21 seconds. The Nanning team and Fuzhou team ranked second and third respectively.

This Xiamen International Marathon Cross-Strait City Invitational Competition has a total of 440 contestants from hundreds of cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Daqing, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Nanchang, Fuzhou, Taoyuan, , Hsinchu , etc., and 4 contestants were sent to calculate the group results. On the day of the
competition, the sun shone brightly in Xiamen and the temperature was high, which added a lot of difficulty to the marathon. After fierce competition, in the end, the four contestants Xie Jinping, Yu Guoxin, Gui Feiyun (female)) and Zhong Haiping, who represented Fuzhou , won the 13th place with a time of 12 hours, 49 minutes and 27 seconds, and the championship was won by the Shanghai team.
