Huizhou Huiyang Tamsui Street Office Emergency Command Center discovered fire danger through high-altitude Hawkeye. The relevant command personnel conducted visual on-site dispatch at the emergency command center through high-altitude Hawkeye and radio throughout the process. They acted quickly, directly and efficiently, and did not exceed half an hour from discovering smoke to rushing to the scene to extinguish open flames.
It is understood that at 11:41 am on April 18, the Emergency Command Center of Huiyang Tamsui Street Office in Huizhou discovered through the high-altitude Eagle Eye smart management platform that smoke was rising from the mattree at the end of the Jinxing Avenue in Xinqiao. Because the wind was strong at that time and worried that the fire would further expand, the emergency command center immediately launched an emergency response plan and notified Yang Zhiyu, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Tamsui Street, and Lian Weixian, director of the Working Committee of the Leaders' Congress on duty, to go to the center for command and dispatch. At the same time, the fire brigade, street forestry station and relevant departments were urgently notified to arrive at the scene to put out the open flames. At around 11:50, the fire truck arrived at the scene; after extinguishing all the open flames at 12:10, the forestry station and firefighters insisted on observing and guarding the scene to prevent rekindles.
At present, the cause of the fire was initially determined to be caused by open-air burning of garbage, and further investigations will be carried out in the future.
