"One-legged uncle" persistence and enthusiasm
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in 2020, Wu Mingjian, a villager in Baoqiao Village, Huaxi Street, Changxing County, has actively participated in epidemic prevention work, and he can be seen at the village checkpoints or in the publicity team. This year marks Wu Mingjian's third year as a volunteer in epidemic prevention and control. He always overcomes physical pain with his legs and feet and insists on guarding the small door for the villagers.
1992, 25-year-old Wu Mingjian was amputated by an industrial injury. In the darkest days of his life, he felt the care and help of his relatives, neighbors and village committee organizations, which also made him regain his confidence in life and determined to do his best to repay society.
He joined the epidemic prevention work without hesitation, on duty at the checkpoints and promoting epidemic prevention knowledge... The Muqiaotou Natural Village where he is located has a large number of migrant populations, so he took the initiative to claim and investigate the migrant population, with crutches in one hand and vegetables in the other, visiting and registering each household, and delivering vegetables and buying rice in one hand.
Ordinary positions have emerged with extraordinary deeds. On the evening of March 28, in the face of a new round of epidemic, in order to further strengthen the investigation of migrant populations and build a solid grassroots epidemic prevention line, the village set up checkpoints for important sections of the roads in the jurisdiction overnight, and volunteers were recruited due to insufficient manpower. Wu Mingjian, who saw the recruitment information, rushed to the village committee and took the initiative to apply to join. Wearing a red vest, he was the first to arrive at the checkpoint duty point every time. Every day, he stood from 8 am to 4 pm. The blood blockage in his legs caused the wound to hurt, but he still persisted. When his legs hurt, he sat on the stool next to him and rubbed it. "I am happy to do something for everyone." The villagers who came and went were moved by his persistence and enthusiasm, and carefully cooperated with his epidemic prevention work.
Use every "small thing" he does to influence the villagers around him, encourage each other, and overcome difficulties together, Wu Mingjian used his actions to gather the joint efforts to fight the epidemic.
"Lame Dabai" retrograde and persistence

He is Chen Jiaju, the head of the Medical Technology Department and director of the outpatient department of Taixi Town Central Health Center, Wuxing District, Huzhou City. Since February 2022, Chen Jiaju has completed more than 30,000 nucleic acid samples and has worked continuously for more than 40 days.

Chen Jiaju, who has many years of experience in the laboratory department, always pays attention to the development of the epidemic. After receiving the anti-epidemic notice, the "lame Dabai" who was disabled in his left leg when he was a child due to illness did not require special care. He rushed to the unit as soon as possible and took the initiative to ask for support on the front line to undertake the task of nucleic acid sampling. "I have no time to take care of too much, so I rush forward if I have a task." Faced with the epidemic, he did not hesitate and took the initiative to ask for battle, becoming the most beautiful "reverser" on the front line of epidemic prevention and control.
When most of the laboratory doctors in the department were transferred to the district temporary laboratory, Chen Jiaju carried out nucleic acid sampling work at various points. In order to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of information, he always works overtime to carefully summarize the data at each collection point after returning from work, strictly review and check, and submit it after investigation and approval.
He and his wife are both medical workers and often have no time to take care of family affairs. In 2020, his father suffered from severe chest pain, while Chen Jiaju and his wife were both on the front line of the fight against the epidemic. Chen Jiaju's younger brother hurriedly took his elderly parents to the hospital. After examination, he was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and underwent heart stent surgery .After the operation was successful, Chen Jiaju's younger brother called his brother to report his safety, and Chen Jiaju couldn't help crying.
The epidemic is an order, and prevention and control is a responsibility. Chen Jiaju interpreted this sentence with practical actions and be a "persistent" to protect the health of residents.
