The establishment and development of New China,
cannot be separated from the contribution of every Communist Party member.
They came from the wars;
They were the vanguard of the liberation of the motherland and the backbone of the Chinese nation;
They were engraved with immortal revolutionary epics and national spirit!
They have entered their 80s, but they have never forgotten their original aspirations and mission as a member of the Communist Party of China.

On the eve of July 1st, under the unified deployment of the Party Group of the Provincial Procuratorate, all party branches of the Provincial Procuratorate conducted visits and condolences to 18 veteran cadres and old party members one after another, inspiring the in-service party members of the procuratorate system to not forget their original aspirations and dare to take responsibility, keep their mission in mind and make new contributions, and further enhance the purpose awareness of procuratorates to serve the people and solve problems.

92-year-old Cai Zhongjie participated in revolutionary work in 1949 and served as a soldier. He was transferred from the Southwest Procuratorate to the Yunnan Provincial Procuratorate and served as an assistant prosecutor. He retired in 1985. He has gray hair and has been recuperating in the hospital for more than two years, but he is energetic and has a clear mind. He still maintains the habit of reading and writing every day. On the bedside table in Cai Zhongjie's ward, there are learning materials such as "Old Comrades' Reference Materials", "Yunnan Daily", "Party History Learning News", and "Reference News", as well as a black briefcase with the words "Yunnan Provincial People's Procuratorate" printed on it. Open the small lock on it, which contains the original work permit and retirement certificate, and a yellowed book full of notes, with neat handwriting and serious and standardized.

Learning Materials

"You are the lighthouse, shining on the ocean before dawn. You are the helmsman, and you control the direction of navigation. The great Communist Party of China, you are the core..." Before parting, the old man Cai Zhongjie, who was lying on the hospital bed, said panting, "You came to see me on July 1st" and I am very grateful. I want to sing a song to express my mood at this moment. Then, he sang the song " Follow the Communist Party " affectionately.
The old horse is in the stable and has ambitions for thousands of miles.
Whether in his sixties,
or in his eighties,
, the old party members have been sticking to their original aspirations and not changing their true colors for the rest of their lives
are still continuing to learn
always caring about the development of society.
We are proud to have a role model like you!
pays your highest respect!

It is understood that the "July 1st" visit to old party members is one of thematic activities of the Provincial Procuratorate to carry out the theme education of "Don't forget the original aspiration and keep the mission in mind". While conducting in-depth theoretical study, from the Party Secretary of the Provincial Court to the Secretary of the Branch, he regularly gives special party classes to party members; organizes party members to go to the Red Revolutionary Education Base in batches to carry out patriotic education; organizes party members to watch special films such as "My Country Is Great".
In recent days, the provincial procuratorate has added a bit of festive atmosphere. Each branch organized party members to work overtime to rehearse, determined to show off their style at the "July 1st" commendation and poetry recitation organized by the provincial procuratorate, establish a good image of the procurator, and present a gift to the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Party with beautiful singing.
