The two poems are "Yongyule·Nostalgia of Jingkou Beiguting" and "Nanxiangzi·Deng Jingkou Beiguting Youyou". From the name of the lyrics, we can see that the two poems are written in "Jingkou Beiguting". Sun Zhongmou also appears in both poems, which is Sun Quan.
Jingkou is the place name of Zhenjiang , Jiangsu. Beiguting is a pavilion on Beigushan , one of the three mountains in Jingkou. The reason why Xin Qiji thought of Sun Quan here is because in Beigushan, many stories about Sun Quan have happened in Jingkou in history. In the story of the Three Kingdoms, we are familiar with Sun and Liu, the joint battle against Cao Cao, and the marriage between Sun and Liu is related to Beigu Mountain. Therefore, this place has been a tourist destination for people to visit the ruins of the Three Kingdoms since ancient times.
Beigu Mountain is located between the other two mountains of Sanshan, Jingkou, Jinshan and Jiaoshan. It is the largest of the three mountains. The mountain is dangerous and solid. It is nestled across the Yangtze River. It is divided into three peaks, front, middle and back. The altitude of the main peak is 58.5 meters. Beigushan is famous all over the world for being "the world's number one country". During the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Emperor Wu of Liang climbed Beigushan and wrote the six big words "the world's number one country".
Climbing to the top of Beigu Mountain, you can embrace the beautiful scenery of Zhenjiang, look at the lush Jiao Mountain in the east, look at the quaint Jinshan in the west, and cross the river to the opposite bank is Yangzhou Pingshan Hall. Here you can clearly feel the majestic momentum of "the two mountains of Jinjiao are small, and Wu and Chu are divided into one river". Yangtze River is called Yangtze River in this section, and it was also the dividing line between Wu and Chu in ancient times.
Beigushan has become famous throughout the ages because of the Sun-Liu alliance during the Three Kingdoms period. Since then, all literati and poets from all generations have come to Beigushan to explore the footsteps of Sun Quan and Liu Bei , leaving many historical sites for Beigushan. The ancient buildings in the temple include the main hall, Laojun Hall , Guanyin Hall, Jiangsheng Pavilion, etc. Although the scale is not very large, it is famous throughout the world because of its connection with Sun and Liu for thousands of years, forming a unique landscape of "Shi Guanshan". The architectural characteristics of Ganlu Temple are different from the styles of Jinshan and Jiaoshan.
Jinshan is famous for its temples, Jiaoshan is the best for ancient trees, while the ancient temples and pavilions in Beigushan use the technique of "using temples to conquer the mountains". The ancient pavilions leaped in the air and were extraordinary. There is an iron tower on the southern foot of the mountain that is particularly eye-catching. This tower was built in the first year of Baoli in the Tang Dynasty (825 AD). It was built by Li Deyu of the Tang Dynasty at that time. Therefore, it is also called the Weigong Tower. It was originally a stone tower, but later it was damaged. It was rebuilt into a nine-level iron tower in the first year of Yuanfeng in the Northern Song Dynasty. , Ming Dynasty, was rebuilt to level seven, and now only four levels remain. The lower two layers are from the Song Dynasty, and the upper two layers were cast in the Ming Dynasty. It has a unique shape and is simple and magnificent.
