The reporter learned from the event organizing committee that the 2022 National Beach Volleyball Tour (Pingtan Station) competition will kick off in the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone, Fujian Province from July 14 to 17. This is also the sixth consecutive year since the first National Beach Volleyball held the highest-level beach volleyball event in 2017.

National Beach Volleyball Tour is one of the most important beach volleyball events in China hosted by the Volleyball Management Center of the General Administration of Sports. The competition is carried out in the first stage of single-cycle group matches and the second stage of single-loss knockout matches.

A total of the national teams and nearly 60 teams from various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government participated in this competition. In terms of men's group, the Shanghai team's Li Jie/Hong Jiajun combination has been working together for many years and has rich experience in participating in domestic and international beach volleyball competitions. It is a favorite to win the championship in this tour. In the women's group, the national team composed of Wang Jingzhe and Aheidan lost 1-2 to the national team in the final in the last match. According to reports, this year's event will be held at the new competition venue - Pingtan International Tourism Island Beach Sports Base. The preparations for the event are currently being carried out as planned. In addition, according to the requirements, all participating athletes, referees, etc. will hold a negative nucleic acid test report within 48 hours, and will undergo nucleic acid test after arriving in Pingtan. In the competition venue, certified personnel and spectators are diverted and managed in different regions, so that personnel and services are not intersected, ensuring that the competition is held normally under the epidemic prevention and control.
